Ok guys heres what I have came up with so far...The Midnight Madness Series is going to run at its regular scheduled time 11:00 pm est and will run its normal format,in other words tonights Midnight Madness will be the same as it is everynight. It will be at Pennsboro_01 v2 and will be open to any one that shows up.Since no other league races are scheduled for tonight the Series 1 Championship race will be scheduled for 9:00pm est. This race will be for the top 10 finishers of the Midnight Madness Series 1 only. This will include the following drivers:

1st place:BLS_BW
2nd place:XCR_X1
3rd place:BLS_Kev
4th place:Starns
5th place:BLS_Lazy
6th place:VLR_Brad
7th place:SRF_29
8th place:BMS
9th place:VLR_Shock
10th place:BLS_34

This is a non-points race and will be archived as the Midnight Madness Series 1 Championship. This will be a race that will take place at the conclusion of each Series that will each be 1 month long and will begin and end on the 1st and last day of each month. The winner will recieve a trophy and will go down in history as the winner of the 1st ever Midnight Madness Championship race.

So if you see your name on the list and are one of the top 10 in Series 1 final points please try to be in the Race'n Nation vent before 9:00,preferably like 10-15 min early. There wont be any subs for this race so if you are unable to be there then you will just finish at the rear.If more than 1 driver cant make it then the lowest one in points not showing up will finish last.Hope this is cool for everyone. Also I'm thinkin maybe not 100 laps but maybe more like 50 or 60 for this championship race. Please let me know any ideas any of ya come up with.I will take all suggestions into consideration.Thank you...have a Happy Easter Day and we'll cya at the races! Lazy

Oh wow! I havnt been asleep since you finished up on that at 4 am. a few of us practiced the [bleep] out of it and I have been all mornin complimenting to everyone on what a vast improvement you made.I have to say that you had it as close to realistic as I have ever seen yet.The only issue we found was the deal off of 4,which I assured ev1 you could fix before race time. Idont know what all you done but v3 is a totaly different track.I really hate to say this but it isnt even close now.It dont even look right.Nothing about it looks right now,the track the scenery nothing its all totally diff and the feel is gone.Anyone could drive this track now.Theres no difficulty level and no exact fast line. Its like I'm just riding around now and all i have to do is hold it wide open and i cant wreck if I try.The fun is gone! Theres nothing challenging about it and that is what made this track what it was! It is so unique and challenging and fast! Its the challenge and the difficulty level that makes racing these tracks so fun.I know you are doing your very best to make this a great track but honestly bro I think you had it all ready! I will use v2 in the series tonight with or with out the turn 4 issue, everyone will just have to stay wide off of 4 and not get on the inside there. If it is possible to get what ya had back and dont do anything other than take care of that invisible deal that was wrecking us off of 4 that would be awesome! Pennsboro is a very hard track to pass on and theres only a couple of places you can pass, and v2 is damn near spot on! You can pass anywhere on v3!Not [bleep]ing Bro"your the best" man but v2 is just so much more realistic v3 isnt even close. So sorry but just being honest!

v3 is a hell of a lot better than v2. Me and Tony ran sbs all the way around the track for 6 laps just now without touching. It may not be one laned and hard to drive like the original Pennsboro but it's a lot more fun and will draw a lot more cars. I can make a slick version like the original but v3 is much much better

Yea it is if your trying to mimick harrison where you can drive 5 wide.I guess you can run side by side n never touch, but thats not pennsboro! Pennsboro is fast and furious and very hard to pass on! You have just a couple places there that you can make a pass and then you better be on your game or your not gonna succeed then! You'll take out yourself and the car your trying to pass! Me and starns was in the low 40s and were able to pass but it wasnt easy.I'm sorry really I give up.I have spent all this time playing this game thinking everyone here wants to race "and I believe the real racers do" but I just found out from reading this reply what its really about, especially for you and tony! If I said it once I've said it a million times, theres racers and theres gamers.

"It may not be one laned and hard to drive like the original Pennsboro but it's a lot more fun and will draw a lot more cars."

That right there^^^^explains it all!.....The original Pennsboro is just that one laned and hard to drive! The difficulty level and the challenge is what makes it so much fun! Especially when its dry and slick. Now catch Pennsboro wet and tacky its not one laned anymore! Doors open that arent usually there, but then it also slows down. I thought the idea here was to make real life tracks as close to real life as possible.V3 may be more fun for you because now you made it wide and slowed it down so you can go race side by side all the time and not have to work carefully for a pass.Hell you cant wreck on v3 if ya wanted too its so easy to drive!.Fact is though that is not Pennsboro! Also I wasnt trying to attract more cars I was trying to get Pennsboro "the home of the dirt late model championship for 20+ yrs" as realistic as possible to use just for the midnight madness series championship race, which is only for 10 cars that finish in the top 10!.If your looking for a track to attract more cars then just pick one of the thousand already made that are very popular. You could name this v3 anything you want now it dont matter. But to call it Pennsboro is an insult to one of the greatest tracks that ever existed!Carl Short didnt gamble his life savings to get all the best of the best dirt late model drivers to compete on one certian track for the largest purse in the sports history and a DTWC because he thought they all would like it and have fun drafting and running 3 or 4 wide! His vision was to put all the best in the world on the toughest track he could find and see who could earn the title of world champion! The same idea I had with the midnight madness.I dont want easy and fun for the championship I want it to be difficult and challenging!Every driver I know hated Pennsboro but By-God they all would show up to race!,and they all had one dream and that was to win there!!! Your awesome track editor Shock N you done an excellent job on both v2 and v3 theres no doubt about that, but you made two totally diff tracks. I will use your v2 for the midnight madness championships because you had it as close to real as I ever seen and I liked that! Period! If I cant get turn 4 and only turn 4 fixed then I'll just use it like it is and I guess the difficulty level has just gone up lol, just will havta stay wide comin off of 4 lmao.

To me it comes down to this. The guy did it for u. For Free. And ur gnna [bleep]. How about u do it ur [bleep]n self and see how it comes out. Bet it looks like a rally track. Nothing is ever good enough for people on this game. These guys keep this game alive by puttin out awesome tracks that are racey and u can run 2 and 3 wide. U want one laned then go to rf. If u want the best action packed racing then stay here. But to come on here [bleep]ing about somethin that someone did for u for free. get the [bleep] over urself.

Ya im surprised I just read that post, lazy was the one who has said many times he hates when he sees people complain about tracks and stuff. That being said it is lazy's league and he can run whatever track he wants to... But still from what I know track making is very hard, technical stuff , and having both these track versions of pennsboro made or edited or whatever in such short notice.... Idk man I wouldn't be saying all that stuff ...

I like slick [bleep] holes as much as the next guy. In fact, I like them more then the next guy. But then you get idiots wrecking every corner and hitting everything on the track and ruining the race. With this it makes the racing exciting and entertaining unlike the one time I went to the real Pennsboro. I'm sure they would have liked for it to be more racy if they had the choice but with dtr2 we can make it more racy. If you poll 99/100 guys on which version is better racing they will say v3. But like you said it needs to have not so good racing so it will be like the real one. And do you think maybe all those drivers showed up to race there because it was $50,000 to win? I'd race anywhere for that much.

I think I can see where Lazy is coming from though. This is a track he knows and has in his heart very deep. While we all love racing side by side at very racy tracks, there are certian tracks that we all know personally, whether we actually raced there or have just been going to for years and years, those tracks are deeply ingrained into our minds. We would like to race on those tracks and feel like we are racing on the real thing. Close is good for visual preferances, but there is something we all want, and feel like we need, to be as close as humanly possible to the real thing. From what I gathered, the actual track is no more in this instance. So Lazy wants this to be as real as it can be because this track means something to him on a very personal level. I don't entirely know what it takes to make a track. I have no idea. But I do know that even if I did know, a track I would try to make would probably never be released because I'd never be happy with it. Lazy just wants a part of the past made real again. And I'm pretty sure we've all felt the same way at one point or another.
