if its just this year , i belong in tier 4 like i said above , i dont think ive finished a fkn heat race in 2012 , but i been battling my own demons of retiring and anger with dtr2 , but im back and ready to give it my all again

i think between the 4 people we have working on the list we can go back as far as we need to to make a solid decision on a drivers ranking.

I like the tier system idea, I've been thinkin that there is about 15 or so drivers I'd like to race all the time regardless if i never won or even finished poorly every week . There are some that can't drive any sprints for $hit or just don't like them or don't want to drive them ,and there are others that are wicked fast in sprints at any track but would be in a lower tier in a LM so the ranking needs to reflect this IMO if sprint are the top tier cars. May need a discrete tryout to rank ppl based off speed and clean driving in sprints ?????

Please dont run the same track every week and mix up track styles!


I do think the bottom drivers in each division and the top from support series should be able to earn their way into and out of their tier somehow every 4 races or so IMO

I gotta say that in the Sprints I would put Kevin back in the top tier...Hes really tough in the sprints

the whole thing about drivers moving up is,what happens to their points from previous tier?
points could carry over i suppose but they would not have the chance to win the tier 2 championship.
do they even want to move out of a tier there clearly move competetive in?

i know some guys wont run sprints and if the guys on the list who do not want to run sprints let me know i can move a driver up from tier 2 into their place.We could do the tryout deal but what if someone is the fastest guy in dtr2 in a sprint but cant stay off of someone for more than 1/2 a lap?
I am trying to take into consideration all these issues within this whole ranking list

So far what im thinking of for schedule is 12 weeks
we run 6 tracks 6 diff weeks and start over again.
I would really like to see if some guys learn new tricks form the 1st time we run a track to the next.

Everyone runs lates.its finally time to run something different!

The only problems with the sprints is the Bubble that comes with them.

I would just hope that whenever you move people its after the season is over. I Personally would go 8-10 weeks max then switch

the bubble fits very close on bls sprints.......that shouldnt be an issue with this series.

This is all constructive criticism that will be considered in making this series.Its all new to everyone in DTR2 so we are all gonna learn from this(i hope) whether its good or bad.In the end it is my decision to do whatever but i wanna try and make it as fun and competetive for everyone that wants to race it.

Absolutely , and possibley like the top 2 from each teir moves up reguardless!!???(

How about you just randomly place people into 3 groups. Let the racers sort themselves out. Every so often, move 2 or 3 guys up and 2 or 3 guys down based on where they are in points and average finish. That way nobody gets offended by being grouped (even though that is exactly what I want happening.) and if they feel they should be in a higher group, their finishes will show that they should be moved up.
