Wish I could've done a little better, but always an accomplishment just to make it to the finals.

DTWS Set to Open 2015 Season 9 years 2 months ago #65138

Seymour, IN ( March 16, 2015) - The DTWS is ready to kick off the 2015 season with a pair of races at Atomic Speedway Friday night for the Buckeye Spring 50 and Brownstown Speedway for a The Indiana Icebreaker. (Saturday or Sunday weather pending since I plan on going to the real event Saturday night.)

The DTWS will follow the same point system as last year with the top 5 drivers from 2014 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and World of Outlaw Late Model series being locked into the DTWS Championship, with 6th through 10th in the respected series running a "race your way into the championship" 15 lap shootout to start things off at Atomic Friday night. Along with the DTWS Drivers Championship There will be a DTWS "Series" Championship with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and World of Outlaws Late Model Series taking part in the championship (more may be announced later). The DTWS is also pleased to announce "The Chase for World Cup" in the final 10 events of the season. The top 10 in points will be locked into the first round of the chase with points being reset to 2500 with 3 bonus points per win. After the first 5 events the field will be cut down to 5 for the final 5 races of the 2015 season with no bonus points for wins.

So who is your picks for this weekends LODLMS events? And who will take home the DTWS championship in 2015?
