WILL JOKERS RUN WILD AT MACON?

BROWNSTOWN, IN (August 1, 2014) - The Dirt Track World Series heads into Macon this Sunday with a new format. Driver Rating, based on last five races will seed the drivers in their heats. There will be two rounds of heats with points being rewarded for both rounds. The top twelve after the heat races are locked into the feature. Next twelve to the B Main, ect.

You may be asking yourself, why is the headline story, "Will Jokes Run Wild At Macon?" Well, it's fairly simple, a series contracted driver can use his one and only joker card at any DTWS race, though only one driver can use his joker card a night and has to say he's using it after the first round of heats. What does this card do, you ask? The joker card will double your point total for the night. Once the driver express his intent to use the joker card, it can not be withdrawn.

Joker Card will not effect the Driver Rating Poll, 100 Cup Standings, or any Fantasy Standings in effort of fairness.

BROWNSTOWN, IN (August 14, 2014) - Dirt Track World Series president, Alex Naffe announced today that The Dirt Track World Series will be adding a 410 winged sprint car series to the series. The series will primarily race in the United States and will be using the World of Outlaws format and points system, with the flare of the World Series Sprintcars "Joker Card". The series will kick off Friday and Saturday at Skagit Speedway with the "Lumber Jack Clash".

LOCUST GROVE, AR (August 15,2014) - Darrell Lanigan crossed the line first to pick up his first Dirt Track World Series victory. Lanigan moved passed Bloomquist to take the lead on lap 18 and never looked back.
With the win Lanigan moved to second in the points and moved Francis back to third. Bloomquist, who used his joker card moved to the points lead with his third place finish.

The top 5 in the feature were, Darrell Lanigan first, Don O'Neal second, Scott Bloomquist third, Earl Pearson fourth, and Billy Ogle Jr rounded out the top 5.

The heat race winners were, Bobby Pierce, Scott Bloomquist, and Dale McDowell in the third and final rounds of heats, including the first two rounds of heats on the preliminary night.

The Series will head to Bloomington Speedway next week for the Dairy Queen Classic the preliminary to the Charles Naffe Memorial the next night.

BROWNSTOWN, IN (August 28, 2014) - The DTWS Heads into Boone, IA for the Super Nationals Monday night for a 50 lap $15,000 to win event.heading into the event Scott Bloomquist holds a 65 points lead over Steve Francis, who is the only driver within the top four in points who has yet to use his joker card this season.

Scott Bloomquist and Billy Ogle Jr are the only drivers with mulitple wins to win a race in the month of August heading into the September 1st event in Boone. Billy Ogle winning the "Masters event at Cedar Lake July 28th and the Herald Review 100 and Scott Bloomquist winning the USA Nationals preliminary and the Topless 100 preliminary at Batesville Motor Speedway.

BROWNSTOWN, IN (September 2, 2014) - The Dirt Track World Series heads into Eldora Speedway this week starting tomorrow for the World 100. Heading into the week Scott Bloomquist leads the Dirt Track World Series Championship Points standings by 110pts over Steve Francis who still has yet to use his joker card this season. Jimmy Owens is in third 135 points behind Bloomquist and 25 behind Steve Fancis. Darrell Lanigan is fourth and Don ONeal sits 5th in points 245 pints behind Scott Bloomquist.

The format for this week is a little different as half of the field will run a full show both nights taking the top 6 from each preliminary A Main directly to the World 100. Then Friday will see the final rounds for the World 100 starting with two E Mains working down to the World 100.

How does this series work...Each player picked a driver............then after that im confused.............who does the offline race.............does each player do there own.then you alex monitor it....................... confused???????????????????????

Only one race, I run them all and use random.org to choose who I race as in all the races. Heats are setup by points and recent races at that track (for local races). And for some big races, like the World I also use the top 100 poll to set up the rest of the heats. Then it's just by luck of where you fall for setting up the rest heats and go from there.
