ROSSBURG, OH (September 5, 2014) - After the first two nights of the DTWS World 100, the first twelve spots have been locked in. Dennis Erb Jr and Darrell Lanigan will be on the front row by winning their Preliminary A Main. The top 6 from each transferred directly to the World 100 tonight.

Tonight's action starts off with two E Main with the top two transferring to the two D Mains. The top two in the D Main transfer to the C Mains. The top two in the. C Mains will then transfer to the LCQ B Mains. The top 2 in the LCQs will then transfer to the DTWS World 100. Who's your pick to win the DTWS World 100 tonight?

ROSSBURG, OH (September 5, 2014) - The Dirt Track World Series World 100came to its final night of racing at the famed Eldora Speedway tonight. The night started with a bang with all of the last chances races coming down to the final lap to decide who transferred on. In the E Mains Mike Benedum and Jason Feger transferred from E Main #1 and Steve Casebolt and Curtis Deisenroth from E Main #2. Mike Benedum charged from the tail in D Main #1 bringing Jerry Bowersock to the first C Main with him. Matt Miller and Ronald McIntosh transferred to C Main #2. Jon Henry won C Main #1 and Chase Junghans won C Main #2 taking Shannon Babb and Bub McCool with them to their respected LCQ B Mains. Brian Shirley and Kevin Weaver transferred to the World 100 from B Main #1 and Tyler Reddick and Billy Ogle Jr transferred from B Main #2 to round out the 16 car DTWS World 100 field.

The World 100 was set to roll off next and on the start Francis jumped out to the early lead with the caution coming out on lap three when Darrell Lanigan expired the motor and his World 100 was over. On the restart Steve Francis again jumped out to the lead as the middle of the feld was stacked with three and four wide racing. Halfway through the race Billy Moyer Jr was charging hard to the front from the mid pack scrambleMoyer later caught a still leading Steve Francis who had pulled away from the pack but had a tire go down and brought out the second caution of the night on lap 93. On the restart Erb jumped out to the lead but the caution came out right away on lap 94. On the restart Steve Francis regained the lead when Erb slipped on the start, but yet another caution came out on lap 95. On the lap 95 restart Erb gained the lead back with Francis following. On the final lap Jared Landers and Billy Ogle Jr got together and the 777 spun to the inside of the speedway bringing out the fifth caution of the night. With the caution coming out on the last lap it came down to a "Green, White, Checkard" restart. Erb and Birkhofer were on the front row for the restart as Birkhofer was able to use his outside line to his advantage gaining the lead over Erb. Francis, however had a bad restart and slipped back to fifth spot. Coming to the white flag Brkhofer had a one car length lead and brought home the Dirt Track World Series World 100.

BROWNSTOWN, IN ( September 9, 2014) - The DTWS will be at the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway next for the Pittsbugher this weekend. The series standings are tightening up as we head in to the later part of the season with only 14 points separating the top two in points.

Coming off the World 100 Brian Birkhofer hopes to use that momentum to race to his third win this season in the DTWS at the Pittsburgher this weekend. Scott Bloomquist and Steve Francis hope to stay up front as Rick Eckert is still looking for his first series win.

The Dirt Track World Series rolls into the Stateline Speedway tonight in part of the DTWS Fall Frenzy tour. As harvest arrived early to the DTWS officials, amends had to be made to the schedule. The Halloween Havoc tour has been pushed up to the next two weeks in making of the "Fall Frenzy".Tour Director Alex Naffe said, "This is the best time for us to do this", he said, "Right now we are just try to get a little head start so we aren't rushed at the end of harvest." The Dirt Track World Series has made two stops so far in its "Fall Frenzy Tour" both being at Lawrenceburg Speedway. "The Real Deal" Don O'Neal picked up the win Saturday night, and Scott Bloomquist took home the win Sunday.

DTWS Roars Into McKean County Raceway

BROWNSTOWN, IN (September 30, 2014) - The Dirt Track World Series heads into McKean County Raceway tonight for another race in the DTWS "FALL FRENZY TOUR". Last night Darrell Lanigan picked up his fifth DTWS win at Stateline Speedway in one of the better races this season. With the win Lanigan moved to second in the championship standings sixteen points behind Steve Francis. Will Lanigan take home another win tonight, or we see a first time winner in the DTWS? Or will we see a repeat winner on the tour? One thing for sure, tonight will have a major impact on the championship standings as we are closing in on the end of the 2014 season.

Over the past year and a half there have been a lot of ups and down in my life. I've gone from being on top of the world one day to the bottom of the barrel the next at one point.Things just haven't been the same for me since, and haven't seemed to be getting back to where I would like to be. Most of these people have changed my world for the best, and I have learned a lot to better myself. But as you know things happen and things can swing in a downward spiral. I recovered from the initial hit, but from there forth things have not gotten much better. One person who I would love to hear from again some day, but will probably only happen if God is willing to let it, and one, well, I know I will just have to deal with (and I hope I kick his @** on the track this weekend).

So with that being said, is time to change the path I have been going a bit, which in turn will lead to a slow down here. This isn't good bye, but just something that needs to be done. It is time to prove my haters and doubters wrong, and do what I love. And remember, Its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.

With that being said, lets get ready to rumble at Eriez Speedway tonight.
