BROWNSTOWN, IN. (July 3, 2011)- Round 4 of the Heat Wave series made the trip to Indiana seeing 9 drivers enter the event.

The first heat began with XCR Ax and Squirrel leading them off into turn 1. Despite getting major pressure from XCR 58 he would go wire to wire with XCR 58 finishing on his bumper in 2nd. IFRT_67r and Squirrel would round out the field.

The second heat would start off with JFR*4 and XCR t91 on the front row. JFR*4 would too go wire to wire and win heat 2. BLS_42 finished second followed by XCR t91 and Slammer who stalled before his car could hit the track.

The start of the feature would see XCR Ax and JFR*4 taking the green. On lap 2 XCR Ax would have problems and almost spin causing him to drop to 6th. JFR*4 would take the lead while XCR 58 and BLS_42 battled for 2nd. A few laps later WFO Josh would slip off the track putting him back to 8th. BLS_42 finally cleared XCR 58 and began to try and pull JFR*4 in. Around mid race XCR t91 who had been running 4th slid off the track in turn 1 moving him back to 6th. The front three pulled away from the rest of the field running close enough to each other that you could throw a blanket over them. Farther back Squirrel found himself off the track in turn 2 and then again between turns 3 and 4 trying to get out of the leaders way. As the race started getting to a close BLS_42 pressured JFR*4 more and more trying to make JFR*4 make a mistake. BLS_42 tried the bottom but JFR*4 ran as smooth as he could not allowing BLS_42 to get that run. JFR*4 would see the checkered flag bringing home his first XCR win. BLS_42 finished a close second and XCR 58 took home a close third. XCR Ax rebounded from his near spin and finished fourth. IFRT_67r ran a good race staying out of trouble and nabbing fifth. XCR t91, WFO Josh and Squirrel rounded out the field. Four different winners in just as many races.
