Felt a 5.6 earthquake in Oklahoma on Saturday night. Kind of a weird feeling...2nd earthquake in 2 day (but i didnt feel the 1st one)

Were your vols able to pull one off this weekend agains some tech college this weekend?

Well I didn't get to watch all of the LSU/BAMA game cause the Vols game was on at the same time. I watched most of the second half, though and thought it was a great game and about what I expected. Both teams have crazy good defense and average/good offense. I think they should stay 1-2.

And the Vols pulled off the shutout against big instate rival Middle Tennessee St.! 24-0. Our third shutout in ten years.

(MTSU has more students than UT believe it or not and were averaging 440 yards a game before this)

LSU vs Alabama

OR

LSU vs Stanford (if they survive Oregon this weekend)

Boise St. will not make it. They are fifth in the BCS right now and are undefeated. Even Alabama is ahead of them in third with one loss. Oklahoma St. will lose to Oklahoma IMO.

I don't think it's even fair for Boise State to be left out because of the conference they're in. They've been undefeated for almost all seasons for the past 5 years but the NCAA wants SEC vs Big10 or 12. Let me give you a refresher, shall I say, 2006 Fiesta Bowl??

A rematch of lsu-alabama would be pointless. We already saw them play and lsu proved they the better team by going in their house and beating them. There are like 100+ d1 schools. Why make them play twice when many other teams are deserving.

Remember Utah KILLING a 1 loss SEC runnerup Bama in a BCS Bowl. I think Boise is the scariest team in the country but they have no real shot of playing for a NC. Plus Bama had their shot and blew it at home so I really dont want to see a rematch of the "Paint Drying On The Wall" Bowl with LSU and Bama. I dont think LSU would kill OSU but I do think they would beat them.

The thing is that Utah came into that game with something to prove. It was their one big game of the year. On the other side, Alabama was disappointed to even be in that game because they were undefeated up until Florida beat them in the SEC Championship. So they had dreams of a National Title and those were dashed in the last game so they came in that game flat.

It's real easy for teams like Boise and Utah to get up for that one big game a year they play against a good team before going back into the WAC conference and crushing teams that shouldn't even be D-1. If they played Alabama and LSU's schedule they wouldn't be anywhere near the top 10 in the country.

The NFL is better.
