Well...; since the last thread, the track Hill Valley has gone through some changes, and not wanting to delay things any further have asked Jammin' to assist in placing some tyres for it. The ALP file was a mission but finally settled for shifting fences around and trees rather than go without trees. So here are the latest pics. I still ask any of you, if you have any additional pics or have been to track, then let me know so that adjustments can be made. After the next track which I built sometime ago, but isn't quite finished will be the last De2 track I will ever do. Rhino will be the way to go, especially since I have all my old gear back up and running. So here is the latest update of track that I've been building; based on the real Hill Valley Speedway in Pennsilvania.

Hill Valley is a brand-new 3/5th's track never offered to the Dirt Track community before.

Hey Jammin', I did email the track buddy. If ya didn't get it, let us know. And thanx Darren, appreciate it. Still some sortin to do, track start for cars but an easy one to fix. Jammin', the back str needs fixing where it meshes with grass edge, if you can that's great. otherwise I will sort that. Been too busy with trees, crowd and fences...Tyres would be good if you can, even if they're done with ALP. If you can't, I understand buddy. Also a short stretch of armco on back str and if it's not too much to ask..; hate to load you up, but I have placed 2 tall poles on front str from bleachers. Could do with a few more.

Yeah, that looks about right. Don't have good pic of turn 4 but for the rest. I'd say very good. Not many will like it, but hey, that's what the pics show. We want the track to be right... Good on ya' mate. Look forward to seeing it. Is the track bits I've done looking alright to you? I think with the pics we've got, it will have to do.

that's cool. buddy. Sorry but I did try number crunching in ALP. It would be too much for this old head to do. If they can be scaled down, it would be great. If Rhino can't be used to scale, then I'll continue to drop corner ones.

Right, an update to show all what Jammin' has done on Hill Valley, plus changes I hav made. Tyres are now all in (Jammin'). Wooden barrier on back str, starters barrier but still requires starters box. Jammin' smoothed track for me but I unsmoothed it, sorry, as Hill Valley has a dip in front str, which meant I had to smooth the back str as I used my original De2, derr!!!. Would hav been easier to contour Jammin's efforts...!!! I'm an idiot..... We sure appreciate your talents.
I hav been fussier than I would normally with this little track. Don't ask me why but it comes with age. No good putting anything out, if it doesn't look right, and considering it is my track, I hav that privelege.

So...; another number of days maybe, and it will be ready. Terrains really need seeing to plus the bleachers handnrails and supports plus front poles then the grass edge on back str to fix but I would say, not a lot more to do, so hope you all will appreciate the efforts on this country track. It will be a fun track with the dipped front str, you bet ur sweet little #R##. Prob not the League competition type track but still. It's been fun at times creating something close to real, and the results hopefully show just that.

Front str with started barrier in place. Missed it when looking at pics originally. They say, the more you look, the more you see. Will attempt to build starters stand.

another few days hopefully, Darren.... Not makin any promises as work load is too great at present. May call it quits and release it as is, but I'd hate for someone to say they raced Hill Valley and it's not exactly the same. You know how it is. Managed to DL a video of track last night, first I've seen. May be slightly off on turn2, but pics say differently. Need some changes like the pit shed. Trees around must have been trimmed or something. But I'm reasonably happy with it. See what you all think.
