Marshalltown Speedway and Benton County Speedway 10 years 7 months ago #57905

Marshalltown Speedway is a great little 1/4 mile was known as the fastest quarter mile in Iowa for a long time it has 30 degree banking and is made of clay. famous names there are the Gustin Family(Jimmy, Richie, Ryan, Jenae) to start and Darrell DeFrance uses the Track to test his late model grew up there the track is my family and it has no set grooves really you can run fast just about any where there is a 6ft drop if you drop off of turn 2 a friend totaled his b mod on that corner. would be nice to have the pits too if possible off turn 3 and 4 but doesn't matter that much.

Benton County Spedway is the home of the IMCA and where IMCA started don't know much about the car just know it has alot of history and is another nice 1/4 mile in Iowa

Thanks for your time guys i would be more than greatful if you made Marshalltown but i know you are busy :)

I use to go to Marshalltown alot-and have raced there a few time years ago. It was a blast to drive on, specially "D"ing the back stretch and diving into turn 3. If they make it I hope they put the dip going into 1. I remember a yellow dairy queen special car drivin by a guy there with the same name you are using, are you related?

It wouldn't surprise me when i say the track is family i mean it i was related to half the hobby stock class at one time lol My Dad raced the Sportsman class in a Nova wagon with a 402 big block he dominated he was yellow #00 my uncle raced Mods with a 455 buick also #00 he was a dq car at one time back in the day any Fricke, Rice, Hegdahl or Gienger i am for sure related and one thing if they do it they need to put the giant burm in the back ground cause last year the championship was decided by that burm a few yards off the track

Here is an picture from above pits are on the left and the game changing burm is the whitish pile on the back stretch (on top) its a small track in an almost unknown town so i wouldn't blame you if you didn't make the track but it is a unique and great track again thanks for checking out the post guys :)
