would like to down load a Nesmith CLM skin go in to submit a file browse flies pic file to down load it . says some thing too fast to read I think it said invald file when in paint shop I down load from VLR is there something to do in paint shop like save or import or export im new at this PLEASE don't say look in the community menu .

are you trying to load a skin you painted onto the website
or
are you trying to get a skin from the website into your game

trying to load a skin I painted to VLR web site THX DEADBOLT

it should be in a zip folder
and contain a folder that is named, and inside it the skin files/texture
im not at my normal comp with dtr2 on it so i cant tell you exactly what the files are called

The file is skin.str, with a folder called textures, with the textures 256texture.tga, 512texture.tga, and spoiler.tga. 256texture is optional, and is not needed. spoiler.tga depends on the car. At least 256 and 512 must be in there. 512 is a higher quality, and is used when certain video settings are selected.

check file 512 tga looks ok put it in a zipped flie did not have it in a zip flie went to down load it said I think doc a flie name required thx for all the help

car works fine off line and on line still cant download skin

start with a zip folder
inside it needs to be a named folder
inside the named folder needs to be the skin.str and textures folder
