I really didn't want to get you doing too much Shock but if you are offering to add an object I'd dearly love in a Speedway it would be this.... A Wall..... The track in question would require a new solid wall to prevent from the Default Texture corrupting... It's I believe to be the last DTR1 or DTR-AU track that hasn't successfully been converted to DTR2. It's such a neat track and although it is late here, I felt the need to get it out of the way..... I have got it running fairly successfully with no crashing... I know you cannot move the Track surface which is why a wall is needed and the only thing that will work...(poss. Husets)..., and hopefully it won't close the track up too much a slightly narrower track will be fun.... I have put in here the pics of before and after conversion and the after is shocking to say the least....That's why I have never offered it.... The Waynes from DTR-SC was pretty much the same but it had more textures... Still looks like....!!!
There is not enough solid things to place there except as I did, Posts from Ads etc.... See what you can do and if you can get it running great then it is your edit... You would have successfully fixed Spirit (DTR-AU) or as many know it as 34Raceway (DTR1) . I would love to see this in our game as I'm sure many others would... No pressure Shock..,. unless ofcourse you or Demonic have a better way.

Oh and... you deserve the last posting.. If you feel the track isn't worth it Shock..., I will understand. Thankyou in advance.

Hey Paul, I'll look into this when I can. For now, I was trying to get working rFactor tracks into dtr2. I'm getting close but not quite. Here's an example!

That looks amazing Shock and won't that be tempting to all those who vacated DTR2 all those years ago.... Our tracks are the best with grip etc.... I think Daveybird wanted my Gateway Dome to convert over to Rfactr a number of years ago 2017...This will excite the crowds Shock...!!!! Fantastic stuff... Looking forward to something maybe a bit more different...

PS I am going to use that Stadium for NZ Baypark as the stands suit it more.... Never liked what I did for the original... Hopefully when the time comes I will be able to get that editor into a newish PC and who knows.

Hey Paul, I'm not sure if Spirit is savable because it still freezes for me even with the default texture removed and everything

I take it you added a wall in front of original wall...? I couldn't do a lot with the deft texture without it messing the entire racing surface... Is it worth it...? No.. you're probably right. Shame as the track did have a great sense of city type racing venue. It was just a thought... I do have it running and have bumped walls all around being the Rockhampton edit that is... Thanks for trying Shock.

Hows the Rfact's tracks coming along...? I am tingling with excitement. Just at present apart from Baypark to texture I am sorting out a South Island track here in NZ called Cromwell. Will get a pic as soon as I feel its worth it.

PS I am dropping tx.fences to see if that has been the main culprit... I have an edit with deft texture dropped so if I have to will put that in as well to see if that's all the issues sorted..., without installing a wall right around.. Just a sneak peek...., of Cromwell.

You have just fixed this classic track thank you Shock... Just a bit of fixing there where the wall was pressing in a little bit on front straight and pit gate but hey..., it works.... Fixed this classic track.!!!! Having this add on of extra objects in De2 and especially in this case has done I think us all a huge favor after 20 plus years of no show for this track Spirit. Pic supplied. Peps will have to rename Lt file back to Spirit Raceway for it to work. Nice job.

No..., I should be okay at doing that little bit... You have far more important things to do... This track I will hopefully get the Fig8 version done Can't see an issue with that. Once I get this done hopefully today and will post probably aas Rockhampton Showgrounds as I think Spirit was meant to be just that when Ratbag put out DTR-Australia. No question of that.

It's exactly how I saw this track fix .. So thanks again Shock. I can imagine how much effort it took..
