Our Town really stepped up and so many people have helped us! Kokomo, and any other town that has ever been affected by something this dramatic has seen what strangers can accomplish when their neighbors are in need!!! Today we are getting 30mph straightline winds that is causing more damage to the areas that are in despair. WE are doing everything we can to help! Duke energy and The City of Kokomo has done a tremendous job in getting our areas cleaned up and the power back on! Thanks to all of you who were concerned!!!! We Will Rebuild!!!!

Very Lucky! It was my sons 8th Birthday too. One to Remember! We use to have a tree that sat between the curb and the sidewalk also. It landed just short of the house with some limbs on top!

Glad no one was killed Jason. Wow. I live in the state of earthquakes and they are nothing (usually) compared to the power of the tornadoes. I was in 1 in Arkansas a few years ago. Unreal feeling of helplessness. If you need anything or if there is anything I can do, I sure will.

LMAO ICE!!!! Thanks! I know this is a regular fall/spring occurance out your way, so this is really nothing compared to what y'all see. First thing I did was run to my neighbors house and made sure they were ok. The lady that lives there with her grandson is an older lady, and my wife said she seen the grandson running back over to the house before the Tornado hit, so I was real worried about them. Then I tried to get over to the houses behind us but the power lines were keeping me from that. All the pics were takin by my wife. I have been cutting trees and helping the City deem if houses are structure sound or if they are non livable. So far 50 house are being torn down and a lil over 200 can be rebuilt. Our addition has a lil over 500 homes in it. The town lost a lot of business also. This is a bad situation for Kokomo, cause we lost a lot of homes this spring due to a historic flood. I just hope the Ice Storms stay away and we get limited to any damage from snow. So far this year has been historical for destruction in the Mother Nature department for Kokomo.
