Hello! 12 years 2 months ago #38488

I've been an off and on casual player of DTR2 since it was first released. Randomly looked it up on google today and found this site, great to see a community of people still enjoying the game!

I'm sure most of you play with a wheel, so maybe won't be able to answer my question, but I just started to play with a gamepad (xbox 360) and the car pulls to the right during races. I actually have to keep the stick pushed slightly to the left to even it out, which is a pain because one minor movement back to neutral position and I'm slamming into the car to my right. Anyone have any tips?

I use a XBOX 360 Controller First off make sure you calibrate the controller.
Go to options>Input>Calibrate Joystick..

As far as a steering lock goes for XBOX, i use about a 11.8 to 12.5 on most tracks.

Thanks for that, I'll try the steering lock. I've calibrated the joystick to no avail.

Awesome, Shock's sets probably made the most difference, but I think my controller might be a little jacked. I've been needing a new one anyway because of a sticky button.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Yeah I use the same controller as you and my sets will work for most anything but they are made using a controller. The car always pulls to the right with a good setup at most tracks, but most of us have been playing for so long that we don't even notice it anymore. So after you get used to it you won't notice. Try not putting a setup in and see if it pulls to the right still. If it doesn't, then it's likely just the setup you're using. After a while you'll get used to running like that and you'll be faster for it. If it pulls to the right with no set in then you have bigger issues.
