It was a rough race kinda (especially at the end), but we were 3 wide on the last lap for the win and 11, Greezy, and Brad all hard charged from the back to catch us and it was a 5 car breakaway for the win.

The top 6 on the last lap of the race out of turn 4

I ended up winning. Wheel and Rain got together hard in turn 4 so I just ducked under them and won by a half car length

So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

I believe I'll go straight to working on this track after LaSalle. It raced great and is one of the best looking tracks in the country. Has a lot of visual work to be done. Thanks wheel

now you know i like the shorter tracks
i liked this one when i was tryin it alone
but with other cars , it just doesnt seem wide enough down the straight
the low line has to fade out to the wall outta the turns to get get a run for the next turn , and id either hit the wall or chance slammin the guy runnin the high line with his shot of speed on the outside
out of turn2 low has the same problem kokomo does , the tail of the car want to whip around and spin out

i had limited time for practice on the thing , unlike the top cars (i assume you all have run this thing 1000 laps thru makin it already)
i started with bloom set , wasnt comfortable , tried florence in the heat - too loose in turns , ended up usin viaduct in the A and felt slightly better thru turns , but still not good enough

this makes me wonder why all the new tracks are getting put it schedules as betas when only a handful of people have had the chance to run them , so they get the better chance at winning than anyone else who shows up

Thats all you can do is wish your up front. It's no coincedence when rain, shock, wheel, brad, greezy, w11 are there and you finish in the back. Your a 2 on Karl's list.

Thanks for letting me know.

1. I noticed that too that some people just slid out with disregard for people above them. On the final one to fix this I plan to smooth the corner to straightaway transition where it isn't so abrupt that you hit the wall coming out of the corner on the high side. In addition to that I plan to make the bottom of the straightaways faster to where you can stay even with someone who's above you better without having to slide up into their lane.

2. I didn't really run the low line much but that may have been there. Wheel was flying down there though.

3. The only time anyone had probably raced here was if they ran the midnight madness race. Then I suggested to rain a couple nights ago that the top line is probably too slow based off the midnight madness race, and he ran a couple races with BW and agreed. So I said give me about 30 minutes and I'll have them a lot closer. Well I worked on it, went in and raced, wasn't quite close enough. Then I went in again, it was a lot better. And then I changed the grip one more time and ran another 8 laps, and was hittin almost the same times.

So I sent to Rain and we ran only 2 or 3 eight lap races on it and based on our races and the closeness of laps we were hitting on both lines he said it was good so we put it up to use for the race. It was supposed to go up the night before but I went to bed and Rain and King couldn't get it to upload so I had to the next morning.

But I had maybe 40 laps on it total with only 30 or so on the final grip and that was purely testing all the lines on the track to make sure it would race good for everyone. Grip is usually the last thing that gets done on a track because you want to make sure everything is going to stay the same and you're not gonna have to go back and change the banking/size/shape anymore. So usually I will run 20-30 laps on a track and if times are close we send it to people to test with us...and then go from there to see what changes to make on the final one. That's why all the tracks have been getting better, from input and testing.

I don't think anyone knew the bottom in 1 and 2 was there and the way you have to run it made for some rough racing at times. If i could lift and roll the bottom in 1 and 2 it was really fast, but I dont think people knew that line was there and it led to me getting turned around 3 or 4 times and probably other people as well. I think most people were running the top in 3 and 4 and when people try to run the bottom in 1 and 2, the people behind them are going so fast from running the top the corner before that they run into the back of the people running low in 1 and 2.

Well I was up front for about a lap...The W11 got in to hot and I got spun...it happens...And I do wish I coulda been up front with em...Cant wait till the official track is released.

DB I think that Rain and Shock was the only 2 that had any real practice and that was from the night before and it wasnt alot with the grip they had so there was about 5 or 6 people that seemed really quick and 4 of us had about as much practice as you.

The only problem with tracks like these is that the guys runnin on the top have to worry about the guys on the bottom sliding up and pinching them off in the wall. Ill take that issue over a 1 lane track any day :D

From that video that Shock posted that track looked and felt pretty dead on! From the color of the dirt to 3 different lines! Great work guys.

Now lets get on that Batesville track :D

I'll try to have you something in time for that Batesville race, at least a good beta as close as I can get it.

And yeah, me and Rain literally had around 30 laps, or 3 races on it...enough to know it was gonna be pretty close. The only practice I got after that was about two races with all the guys before the race so really a lot of people probably had more laps than we did on it before it started. But I didn't take it the wrong way DB I appreciate it actually because we need the feedback to make them better in the future.

Ah crap. Well that will give me more time to make it then. Where's the updated latest schedule at? I should have a lot more done on Lawrenceburg at that point so it would either be a beta 3 or final by then, grip will be really close to what it is now, but I plan to fix a couple of issues in the original post up there.
