So I have read and tried multiple times on how to do offline series racing. I have so far installed 2004 Dirt modified offline series from this site, into all of its correct folders, i.e (cars, skins,misc) I also have the series folders inside data. I have my game not setup in the default path. I have it setup in C;programfiles/ratbag/dtr2/data/series/myseries/series.str So the question is how do i get it to appear in the game? Along with this in the same C:prgramfiles/ratbag/dtr2/data/series/2004 DIRT southeast series, also inside the series folder somehow came with bloomington weekly, 41st weekly, .


If anyone can break it down into laymen terms.. Please Thank you. For all the Help.


BTW there is an empty spot on the OFFLINE series racing template on this site if you try to download it, it is no longer available

Theres weekly racing series at just one track and those come with the download, don't worry about them.




Now to get them to appear in laymens terms.......start a new save file. If you start a new save file the addon series' should all be there.

Okay so I might sound like an idiot here but is that save file inside of the saved games? or do i just make a new save file, inside the series?


Where do i start a new save file at?

Turn on the game. Single player, new game. Buy a pro stock, sell it, buy one of the Big Blocks for 0.

Run DTR2, click Single Player, then click New Career.

Once you set your name, car number, difficulty, number of opponents, and options, you should be able to enter a series.

If the custom series doesn't show up on the list of series you can enter, we have a bigger problem.

That could very well have everything to do with it. You have to have all of the tracks and skins installed.

Thought that is what is was i will change the track names and see if that works also!!


What track is unity anyway?

Just going from memory, but I'm pretty sure Unity is a 1/3 mile track in Maine. It's older... I'd just do a search for it. I believe it's in Yenko's tracks.

Does that look right ? I took out the LM in front of the Denny chamberlin.... When i replaced it with just G5 Rayburn\\0 should i put the LM back? the reason i am asking it is still not showing up in the game! I changed all the tracks around to the ones i have in my folders. Maybe I misspelled one. going to double check right now!

Yes double checked the tracks and all the tracks are correct. I shouldve started out with mybe just six tracks instead of 24. could narrow my problem down!

nope look in hoovers i was 1 that edited it gfrom default bloom

no that was my goof i see u dl my str files and changed car types wich is fine i never fixed goofs before uploading maybe i need to lol mistakes is learning

My series has driver 0 with non existent shop car G5 Capitol @@@

So then I tried Late model.////

Same error again

What is it i put after the drivers name for the car model then the -//0

First off, my bad and apologies to hoover. Unity is his creation.

Secondly, Diceman, you need to make sure that the skin assignment matches the folder name for a skin, not for a chassis.

In other words, put a space and the numeral "1" between "G5 Rayburn" and the "//0"

If I have it right, that should set the driver to run the basic template for the Rayburn chassis, and you will be good to go.

in ur skin folder will be names of each car or default chassi skin aka G5 Capitol,G5 Rayburn,G5 Rocket ext make sure u have name typed right or it wront read right if mem serves there are 5 or 6 default g5 skins if ur trying add any other skin i ned add the folders name exple hoovers lm find skin with hoovers lm name then copy past on drivers # u want use it but some dont always have full name Game dont use names on str file for offline start up it uses folder name of each skin that in ur skin file or default
