Jeff Osborn fatally injured in sprint car crash at Valley Speedway - ©

Jeff Osborn, 38, of Savannah, Mo. died as a result of a non-wing sprint car crash Friday night at Valley Speedway. The accident occurred as the leaders were approaching the white flag of the 25-lap main event, which was the final race of the weekly open wheel program. Osborn's car slipped off the track in turn one and flipped, striking hard the fencing in turn two. Further details and arrangements are forthcoming. RacinBoys offers deepest sympathy to the Osborn family at this most difficult time.

anybody that goes to Eagle Raceway may have heard of Jeff as he traveled to race there.

i do not know any thing beside what i read. i was at lakeside speedway last. i can tell you that at valley speedway the only way he could have slipped off the track is by the opening going to the pits which tells me he would have had to hit the wall trying to get back on the track. which probably caused him to start flipping

but it is a sad night anytime a racer loses their life at the track.
