Where I'm from in NY we have mostly Big Block modified stuff (which you probably know). My buddies and I were trying to figure out a way to make racing online more fun so the 4 of us at the time (2010-BBS,ACE, xxx and I) all got the Dirt Mod V3 chassis and downloaded a bunch of skins off of blackhole and now of course VLR. We ran and used setups and quickly found out that some of us were much better at setting cars up in the game and the racing got pretty boring.

So we came up with a plan which some of you have probably tried. We said from now on NO SETUPS! So we did that and still found we had some pretty boring races so BBS suggested running cautions. And we had no idea how we would do it. So we tried it one night and practiced and practiced until we got the system down. There was also the question of who was using setups. Here is how we do it...

1. No shifting! Run in automatic.
2. Can only change the tire softness and leave the size stock so it actually looks like a modified and doesn't have tiny wheels.
3. The only thing other than the tire softness that can be changed is the steering lock to help everyone get comfortable with their (keys, wheel, controller).
4. Don't cheat and if you have to then your just slow so make very small changes that aren't noticeable

So you can try this out one time with whatever class you like to run. We like to sling around the big blocks. Here is a short video showing an example of how we run. Keep in mind BBS has a wheel. I have keys. And XXX has a controller. It is usually a blast except when you get all 6 or 7 of us in a server then we have a caution filled race normally lmao.

Turn your sound down a bit so you down blow an eardrum hahaha.

Awesome video Ralphy, it makes the racing a whole lot closer, too. That night we had like 7 guys racing at OCFS when it came out was way more fun than using setups because the whole entire pack stayed close and with the right run on somebody you could pass three or four cars a lap...wish there was a way to force no or fixed setups on people or something because I'm sure there would some leagues running it like that and it'd really show who was the best along with making the races always finish close

is there a way to like make a modified with having a fixed set that cannot be notepadded?
