I think we should start a Senior advisory committee for addressing some of the issues.
With the top 6 seniors of the game to rule on issues like note padding, hypershifting, disrepecting others, recruting, and so on.
After all it is our game and we should control some of the out of control issues with a committee setting down some fair play rules for all the players to acknowledge and go by. We can't keep blaming new drivers for there mistakes to point where they quit or where the whole Teams get fed up and shuts down. I know I have been here longer than anybody and i'm willing to sit down with 5 other old timers and help write some guide lines to help keep this game moving forward in a positive direction. If you think that will help lets hear some support for the idea. If you think this Idea is wrong or won't work just say so. this is just an Idea I had to help keep this game moving forward.

As much as I really like the idea i just dont think it would work. To many people wanting to do their thing (their team their call) and their just isnt the unity needed among the major teams. Then you are going to have people coming out saying "who the hell are you? and you cant make rules for everyone!"

And I get that it would be just on certain issues " note padding, hypershifting, disrepecting others, recruting" People would see that as trying to take over the game.
So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

Well, I understand what your saying Ice, hell some people can't wipe there own ass with out bitchen. I think its obsurd for anybody to think anybody wants to take over this Game, I predict a slow death to DTR2 unforunatly its on the gamespy cut list.
And the reason is no browser support. Game spy don't give a shit about private servers, they look at whos populating the gamespy servers. Since Doit shut down its been only a hand full a week. And a frind of mine told me last week they were going to stop supporting over a 100 lame games and DTR2 was one of them. 2 weeks ago they stopped all support for Return to Castle Wolfenstien. anyway never mind about the advisory committee I don't think it will be needed.

For someone that has been around years in DTR2,I have to agree with Ice...teams have their own way with dealing with things and making their own calls...putting a rule system in line that is made up of 6 or 7 people would have people saying who the hell are these people that put these rules in place...alot of us run nightly and if this system was put in place by people that don't run every night then that would be the issue no one would know who the people were that had this rule system put in place...that is the issue...that is just my 2 cents on this topic have a good day :)

Browser thing would be cool but cooler if you could just set a password to the servers then we'd always race in the browser. Someone said their friend was working on doing that and said it would be easy, but I guess not or it would've happened already.

I'm not on here much but I always read whats going on. I think the idea of running league races on the servers is a great idea, we (atr) have always run our weekly show on the browser. It is kind of a pain at times but you can lock it down and eliminate most of the problems. Just my thoughts, not that they amount to much but their mine. Catch ya later.

Ill see if he has a list, he has owned the software store at the mall for over 10 years. I built him a new home about 8 years ago he helps me with all kinds of software and gives me a few freebies as well as keeping me informed on latest releases and such. hes a big gammer Battlefield stuff. He told me of about 20 games that was already cut but most of them I have never heard of.
