Don't get on here often.. Needed to do somethin different I guess...

Great to see Ray and his new tracks coming out and Demonic trying to get some of the rare ones sorted.

But the request I'm makin is... for getting new guys with fresh blood to edit the game, we need lots of tutorials or posts with theorys that beg answers to make this game even more exciting. When I do get back into the swing and hopefully, it won't be too much longer guys and gals; would be good to know everything about creating a decent track and not rlying on Jammin or Shock or F1 to help with additions. I refer to the adding of objects in the ALP. I can put other track ALP's into new track but this is limited and need to know how to create new objects.
Shock, you came up with a new idea for fixing the A1, and I think Ray is the man now for that, yes? Ben, be cool and do us a Tutorial, mate on ALP. I know F1.. you did one for Rhino. Be cool if I get my head around that. Feel like Darren with the number crunching.

Any help or ideas, would be much appreciated.

Hey Paul,

Ray is way better with the AI's so he could do a tutorial for that if he wants. My way works good if everything is stretched evenly.

I want to make a video sometime that shows step by step how to do them if people let me know how interested they'd be.

sounds like a good idea. Something visual for teaching can sometimes be better. Go for it, bud.

That's great Darren. Maybe you can offer a tutorial on Photoshop or PSP on making up these textures whether vid or text form, if there's none to be found on subject here on VLR, unless subject's covered because many of us take our talents for granted and never think that somone else out there is like us when we first got started, all those years ago. I'm sure that for you or any other, that being involved in some form of editing, is everything. At some stage when I build a base for a track using Rhino, I'll send you it to texture, buddy.

Shock, one thing that grabbed my attention was sizing a track from maps. That would be nice to know, if any want to get the perfect track shape but especially the length of pole line.

Also... Can there be made a folder in DL's Section after Editing Section maybe, where Tutorials are placed, so they're easier to find? IDK.
Also Shock, having different methods for fixing the A1 will help which ever method is quicker or easier for all. Yes please for a tutorial when you get 5 minutes spare, hehe.... Sorry I didn't answer that indirectly, bud. I know that Ray when he takes a breather might do one the way he does it.

PS - That Speedway track looks great from pics, Shock. William did good on pics and making signage plus the fee ofcourse. Can't wait to get all these new tracks transferred to my other PC and see them on the big screen, then chill out with some speedy laps. Thanx for that.

I say again, if you are witholding any infomation pertaining to DTR2, you will be caught.., unless you share the infomation with us all; then we won't squeel...!!!
