TOPIC:

After the last several races and judging by how good the new tracks are for racing, SKM will be starting its first series. DTR2 as a whole has been hurting for competitive races with big car counts recently, and my goal is to turn things around a little. WE as a group need to show up and be involved to make this a success. Let a friend know about it, or anyone you know who might be interested in racing.

WHEN: Sunday nights at 7:00 PM.

WHERE: VLR Vent

CHASSIS: SDLM Late Models

RACE FORMAT:

-Group qualifying, 6 laps.
-Random invert of qualifying results, (0, 4, 6, or 12)
-10 lap heats lined up by qualifying results after invert.
-Mains lined up by heat finishes straight up.
-50 lap A Mains, split into two 25 lap segments.

POINTS: We will follow the VLR points format for all finishing positions. Fast qualifier, heat winners, and B Main winners will all receive TWO POINTS.

SCHEDULE: The schedule will be released in the coming week. The season opener will be Sunday, April 9th.

RULES:

-No cheating. (hypershifting, grip changes, etc.)
-Absolutely no intentional wrecking. Any crash causing someone to lose 3 or more positions will be reviewed and if determined to be intentional, the driver will be disqualified from that race.
-Have fun. We need to get back to racing for the right reasons.
