Restart rules:

Heats: 2 rs first lap only.
Dash: No restarts
B main: 3 rs first lap only.
A main: 3 rs first 3 laps.


*Disconnecting is the only exception to restart rule for all races.

Disconnecting rules:
1 disconnect- restart, spot given back
2 disconnects- restart, forfeit of starting spot, resorts to tail
3 disconnects- no restart, disconnecting car awarded last place finish



Froze Car rules:

Heat: Before halfway a complete restart with froze car going tail, After halfway race is considered over with froze car finishing last.
Dash: Complete restart minus the froze car. Froze car awarded 6th in dash.
B main: Before lap 10, field lined up based on where they were when car froze, after lap 10 race is called, froze car finishes tail.
A main: Before lap 10 complete restart. After lap 10 to 6 laps to go, field lined up based on where they were with froze car going to the tail. 5 laps to go or less the race is called with froze car finishing last.




Line-up procedure:

Heat: Random draw. Grid set to rank.
Dash: Reverse average finish, heads up for first race, first time runners heads up behind average finish cars
B main: heads up lineup based on those that do not transfer directly from heats.
A main: Spots 1-6 heads up from dash finish, 7-10 heads up lineup from B main transfers.



Misc rules:

Ventrilo: BLS/DTA/ICE/JFR/SDC/XCR vent.
Track wetness at 0 for all races
Damage on Simulation for all races
Tire wear ON for all races
Results from each race will be posted directly after that night.

AS DEFENDING CHAMP OF THE DUST BOWL, I'D LIKE TO SAY THAT THIS IS A GREAT SCHEDULE!

SDC Officials are currently in contact with track officials from multiple different tracks both on and off the Dust Bowl II schedule. Possible schedule change coming in the very near future. We are currently trying to find a solution that brings a positive result for both SDC and the tracks we are in contact with.

NE Ohio Raceway needs some racing to spice up their weekly events

You need to spice it up more sexually and get people interested in the track more. Add trees all around it and other things, maybe more walls, a fence, etc to get sponsors and series to take interest. Right now it looks like a weekly track, so the track needs some renovations to bring in National tours.

SDC Officials and Atomic Speedway Officials have been in contact in recent days and both parties have agreed that Atomic Speedway DLM will not be the opener of The Dust Bowl II. SDC and Atomic are still in contact in an effort to reschedule the event. JFR Speedway has stepped up and will now handle the opening event for the SDC Dust Bowl II now instead of their previous date of June 28th. That date is now open and SDC Officials are in contact with multiple different tracks in hopes of finalizing an event for the now open date.


Both SDC and Atomic Speedway management apologize to the fans that had already purchased tickets and the speedway offers complete refunds or an exchange for tickets for another special show at the speedway for those that have tickets.

I received some revenge after I did this...


Longer version from further away:



Apparently I did touch him which at race speed I didn't even realize but this seems a little extreme to me for "revenge." That type of contact happens 50 times a race.

Guess I have to explain myself again before this gets blown out of proportion again. At least the videos both show pretty much the same thing my replay did. Here's how I saw it and still do and how I ruled it.



WHAT SHOCK DID: Bump and run. Happens everywhere at every track at least once or twice a night. Good racing for spectators, not exactly clean to other drivers. Wheel didn't get taken out just bounced off the wall. Both kept going.

MOVE DEEMED LEGAL. Not a clean pass and not exactly smiled upon either but I'm not going to penalize somebody for trying to pass.



WHAT WHEEL DID: After the bump and run dove hard into 1 and into Shock's bumper. Both cars went to the wall, again neither were wrecked. Both cars continued after said contact.


NO PENALTY HANDED DOWN. Reasoning as to why I ruled it as such was I looked at it from the standpoint of if it happened to me. If you have to bump me to get by you can expect a bump back. Wheel hit Shock about 2 more times than I would have and also harder than I would have but I'm letting it go this time only. I'm not condoning Wheel's actions on track or off track.



I let this one go. That doesn't mean I'm letting it happen every week. Both drivers are being warned now that if it happens again there will be penalties.

The warning is for both because "I don't give a fuck what J-MAC thinks" and "well in that case I'm going to wreck somebody every week just for passing me and I didn't like that so I'll call it revenge each time" are not things that will be allowed at my show and are not things one would expect for guys that have been here for 10+ years.


That is all that I feel needs to be said on the issue from last night.


Next week's track is Florence Speedway KY.

IMO Wheel choked on the payback. Id have drove Shock and myself over the wall and into the kfc drive thru in the next county over. Blood and chicken grease all over the place.

Actually I just did a hell of a job driving out of it. Besides his ridiculous turn 1 smash for no reason, he had me up on two wheels most of the back stretch with SIM damage on and I still passed him the next corner lmao. If i didn't hit some chicken bone glitch later in the race on the back stretch I was still gonna win.
