With Duster pulling the plug on the JFR 11pm Extravaganza, Atwood and myself have decided to take over with a new revamped format while keeping the same good ol 11pm rules that made it what it is.

Whats the same:

Different track each night chosen by the winner
Multiple race format
No points being kept track of.
Races are mostly for fun/track time.


Whats new:

Race length changing. Two 8 laps heats, 6 lap dash, 30 lap A main.
First heat random, second heat and dash reverse rank, A main rank.
Race days are every Sunday-Thursday. No racing on Friday or Saturday during real racing season.
SDC Sanctioning will put wins on the SDC All Time Winlist for races with 6 cars or more.
Chassis change will occur at the start of each month.
End of month champion based on # of A main wins.



Opinions of those that race often will be taken into consideration on if any changes are needed.

Love the format J-MAC!

I wasn't really a fan of having 2 20 lap races, but it wasn't enough to where it really mattered. The change in laps allows guys up front a little better chance at pulling out a win and reverse rank for 2 races as well as the shorter dash will allow those that normally don't win as often a chance to pick up a quick victory. Then the switch to rank for the 30 lap feature erases all desire to sandbag to try and start up front to easily walk away with it. Plus the added 10 laps allows more time for the fast guys that may have been wrecked out in all the other 3 races (its happened, not often but its happened) a chance to come from the back to contend. We may cut the final A main laps back if some drivers start to dominate. Just now thinking that if one or 2 guys are dominating, might add in a random invert just for the A main.

Ok due to the fact that both me and Atwood possibly will be at separate race tracks at 11pm tomorrow night, the SDC After Dark™ opener will be Monday night the 3rd.

NASA Speedpark??? KK is my hero.

Yeah it turned out pretty good too. I was kinda worried how bad it would be and how many cars would/wouldn't show and it was the first 10 car race for the series. The racing turned out ok, could have been a lot better. So far TVRv4 is like the best racing we've had.

We're back tonight at what might be one of the smallest tracks ever as we return at Macon IL tonight at 11pm!
