Hello ladies and gentlemen. The series I mentioned a few days back is all set and ready to roll. This will be the Official info thread for the series, we (probably me) will be posting what race is next, results, point standings, news whatever.



For this series we will be using the Big Block v5 that F1 ever so lovingly made that I debuted at DTR2 Super Dirt Week I and will be visiting many tracks across the country. Rules and points format are posted on our site www.superdirtcar.tk/ Much to the dismay of some, we ARE USING CAUTIONS LIKE AT SUPER DIRT WEEK. Subs are allowed for those that can't make a race, just let us know AHEAD of time. Not 5 mins after lineups are supposed to come out. The track wetness will be randomly selected for each part of the event starting with the 1st heat race and drying with each event. Line ups will be randomly selected for heat races, heads up start for the first race and then the transfers to the A main directly from the heats will be handicapped by points for all following races except the Halfway race. If you have any questions ask in ths thread or hunt down me or King and we will try to get everything figured out.

November 8th/Knoxville 2k11 (50 laps)

November 15th/Shady Grove (50 laps)

(week off for Thanksgiving)

November 29th/Adams County v2 (50 laps)

December 6th/DTAC Sprint (100 lap season finale, Double Points)


Schedule subject to change in the event of a new track being released. Schedule changes will be announced a week before the changed race. Like I said before, Any questions ask here or hunt us down. We race Thursdays at 8pm.

I really like this format and really enjoyed sdw's as well - now i gotta start working on set in the full sim damage mode cause i promise you it changes the car feel on the track.Some reason my car always get looser but this just adds to the challenge of setting up the car - im sure that alot of stuff we never tweek on wil make a big difference on the track like the spring stuf and such

SCHEDULE CHANGE!

It was brought to my attention that we had a race scheduled on Thanksgiving, so the last 2 races of the series have been pushed back to fix that.

We start 1 week from tonight and we start it off big! 100 laps and double points right from the get-go at BMS Canandaigua!!! Send those skins so we can get a skin pack together!!!!

Earlier today I placed a phone call to the Volunteer speedway and they said the race that day was cancelled. After some phone work, Lawrenceburg has taken up the vacent slot.


So the 2nd race of the series will be at Lawrenceburg 2013 instead of Volunteer 2013.

The website is all up to date with all schedule mistakes. Check it out, if you have any questions hunt us down. Also GET THOSE SKINS IN! We will be using VLR Ventrilo for raceday.

GAY. Volunteer is awesome

It is with Late models.. We had 4 or 5 test with mods and cars were spinning very other lap. We wanna avoid as many cautions as possible so the show doesn't take 3 hours.

A friend and I used to place this game years ago and decided to start playing it again. Would love to get in on this series as its just starting up. Sweet, you're gonna need to download the tracks on the schedule as well as the chassis. We're running the Big Block v5s which I know you can download in the BLS Chassis section of the downloads. As far as I know all the tracks are available on this site as well.


If you don't have Ventrilo (the main thing we use to communicate with people during the event) you'll have to download that but I unfortunatly don't remember where or how to download that.

Thanks, got the first couple tracks downloaded already and the Big Block v5s, have vent already so pretty much good to go other than working on setups and practicing to knock the rust off.

I seen something was said about sending skins in, who/where do I need to send them to? Will try to have mine and my buddy's skins knocked out and ready later tonight.

BTW: What's everyone playing with these days, steering wheels still the favored option?

Top guys have Wheels and some race with controllers.

The last skin of yours I had for a BB Jsn was all screwed up because it was a Late Model template and the Lates don't match up on a BB. You have one actually on a modified template?

No skinpack yet since I'm backed up on BBv5 skins to paint and time to paint them! The skinpack will be out before season 2 hopefully! lol

whats the vent info?

Believe they are using VLR's ventrilo for that race. It's listed on the dtr2 ventrilos page
