if someone could take the time and get some really good photos of NYSF track we could possibly get at the very least a good base to run ur race on.

Let's do it flya. We can make a quick racy version from a dtr1 track like Nocksville or something since Syracuse has those weird walls. Like a concrete wall, then a space, then a guardrail, another space, and another guardrail.

No. It's jsut his race is coming up in less than a month so it would be hard to get a good one done in time

well like i said in my original post....at the very least we could get a good base made for it.not the entire track done.

If you guys wanna work on it for next years Super Dirt Week race, that'd be great. The only time I'll be able to be out on the track to get pictures like I did for OCFS will be in October when Super Dirt Week rolls around. Otherwise you could maybe start with pics from last years race. No pics from turns 1 and 2 though. Nobodys allowed to take pics over there.

A change has been made to the race card. The Gen3 support race has been replaced with a USMTS Mod support race with the Gen3s being dropped from the card.

I was considering do a week long Boone "Super Nationals" sort of format. I figured it would be hard to get leagues to make room for someone wanting to do an event that took a week, so I put it on the backburner. If you wanna make some small adjustments to the schedule, and maybe switch the track to Boone 2k12, I'd be all for it, and probably help you with the show.

Right now there is no track. But the announcement will be made in the near future. And if you want to help the show, I'd gladly accept it. I need race officials to make sure certian things happen like the track wetness be set at the exact number that is randomly selected for that part of the event.

I would scratch on the random wetness. A lot of the add on tracks won't be very good on other wetness.

VLR tried something like that to simulate real life weather at the time of the race. I don't think it went over very well tho.

Well this is only going to be a once a year thing. So If its a success then the rules for next year will stay about the same, if it sucks, then its back to the drawing board to make it better. The different track wetnesses at the tracks I've tested at random wetnesses only affected tire wear and not so much on anything else. I'm going to have gone over the track to make sure its a good one before this starts so if a track is crap at different wetnesses, then it won't be the track this show will race at. I've seen how some tracks are with different wetnesses. (Dalton gets about a second faster when the track is wetter but the handling is all over and crappy) The track we run at will work with different wetnesses. And even if theres a difference that I don't notice, the wetnesses will be the same for everybody so it will still be an even playing field across the board. But I will not be running a track that is complete crap on 80% of the possible wetnesses and only really good at like 10% of them, leaving the last 10% an iffy track.

alot of the older tracks will change a tad with different wetness'. wfo used to play around with track surfaces quite abit. shock did get lazy and alot of newer tracks are only made for 47 wet. older ones usually good with different wetness though.
