NO dont pay, its jsut a slower download. You pay to make it dl faster. jsut wait for a while and you can have a free dl. About 40 seconds i think.

Ima just gonna say one thing..these cars are BAD ASS!..Hit a 10.09 at Silver dollar..i know thats prolly not the fastest there with these cars..But i did that on keys..hittin 10.10s to 10.16 consistantly..not too damn bad on keys..Cant wait to get the controller tho..prolly be even faster...but for once..i can run a car on dirtfactor with keys and im lovin it..GOOD JOB F1yer

I had some really good rates for keys Rowdy, but I'm sure you have some good ones, too. It made them handle great like on a controller and they were fast, too, and really easy to drive

Actually i got some wheel sets for the rfactor lates..and im havin to change alot of crap on them to get them to handle..But if u still got them and would'nt mind sendin them i'd appriciate it.

Well their not setups, but rates. Basically it makes it so that as soon as you press the left arrow to turn or whatever, it instantly responds, instead of there being a little delay. We in the FLM dtrfactor server at Gas City right now if you wanna come in and I will give them to you the best I can remember. Us dtr2 guys hung really well with the rFactor guys...wasn't one race it was like me, F1yer, Rain top 3, pretty good!!

**But the rFactor guys were fast, especially the YBR's and OAS and a couple guys without tags. They might not even been tryin who knows

Nice..I was gonna race but i kept losin connection..But i got to tinker'n with the rates u told me shock and now im flyen..got a 15.008 at knox..im sure there's prolly 90's bein hit there tho..startin to get the hang of it on the keys..but thanks alot for them rates.

NP Rowdy, I just messed around with those rates when I was trying to help my dad get it setup on keys. And yes we used to be in 14.90s at Knoxville but with the new set Shocker sent me we were hitting 14.60's so I'll have to get that to you. Glad they worked, though. I seen you in the server like right after we all left but I think we had 21 guys in there at one time so it was pretty wild. I will post my pros/cons of this mod later.

If anyone runs a wheel, could they please tell me the rates, I had a really hard time last night, most of the problem is having a frame rate of 7-12. I think once, it hit 66 and i got a nice lap lol.

All in all it's really fun, I had a blast running the rim and staying with the guy below. I think there is only one flaw, that being the default setups. In Stock Car Evolution, which is an rfactor mod, the default setup is almost pretty dead on usually about .2-5 off fast lap. I think most are for wheel in that game, but all you really need to do is change steering lock and drive it, which puts it in the drivers hands, instead of the setups, making the game equal to all. But that's just a lil input from another mod, that mod also has a "mod manager" for rfactor, it will upload and download skins and updates, maybe you can add the DTRFACTOR package to that. That way all we have to do is click "check for updates", click "install updates", click "upload" to add your skin, click "download" to get all the skins that have been uploaded. It's an awesome mod manager!!! But other that that, is there anyway you can get the default setups within .2-5 of the fast laps? It gets very discouraging to be 1-2 seconds off, but I guess that's where knowing how to set it up falls in, I was just trying to get it so Everyone could have a competetive car off the bat, just knowing how to drive it or not being the outcome if you can win or not.

Yeah Rowdy I'll probably just send you the set when I get on it later and I'll let u know. Glad those rates worked, though. I gave them to 43a on keys and he said they were bad for him, but I probably gave him the wrong ones too lol.

Here are my pros & cons tho:
Pros:
1. Fun
2. Easy
3. More than 10 cars (but thats more about the game and not the mod)
4. Competitive

Cons:
1. When you get a little loose you still lose a lot more time than on dtr2, which spreads the racing out more.
2. Almost all tracks seem to be one grooved compared to dtr2. (Seems to be a result of the tracks and not the mod, though)
3. Having more than 10 cars in an A main can also be bad, because the guys who are usually in the back of the B Mains in dtr2 are now at the back of the A Mains, and that's not always a good thing.

That's real racin tho, you ever see ONLY the top 10 cars at ANY speedway race the A? Maybe if only 10 show up!! But other than that, usually 20+ start the A ANYWHERE!!!

pros:
1) can use controler or wheel or keys to drive

2) more that 10 cars can run in a race

3) nice graphics

cons:

i cant get out of my own way, let alone anyone elses so gave up lastinght and put it on the trailer (lol)
