Can anyone help me with this problem Im having tryin to download more stuff to my game?

what is the problem? got to tell us what it is so we can help

I keep trying to download more chassis, skins and other stuff for more late models and I cant. The only way I can download anything is if it is a exe. form

you need to extract to Games Infogrames Data , then skins and cars

I have tried that over and over..and it say its unable to extract or unzip whatever I try to get. I have gone to different websites more than once. I cant get anything to unzip or extract. I can only get stuff that is in exe. form.

Try downloading this www.winzip.com/downwz.htm . When I extract files i always send them to the desktop and drag them to the car and skin folders. But you can just extract them to those files also.

I downloaded winzip..I made the shortcut folders to cars and skins and put the downloads on my desktop and then tried to send them to the folders like you said you did. When I try to open the game and play..it says the game is unable to open the files that I try to put on the game. I dont know what Im doin wrong..I am startin to get frustrated with the game. What do I do now?

What does it say when you try to open the game...what is the error message? If you have teamviewer I could try to help you on there.

i dont mean to sound like an *ss , but ... are you puuting the zip folder in the tracks/skins folders?

even the best of us have a lapse every once in awhile

one thing i noticed with winrar is i tell it to unzip to my desktop , and it creates a double folder , so i had to take the file i wanted out of a identically named folder that the program made for it on my desktop

I will put the chassis in the chassis folder and the skin in the skins folder..and try to open the game and it says "the game is unable to open the skin or the chassis folder"

as far as I kno Im puttin the files in the right folder

ok try this
1. download a file and put it on desktop

2. click on file to unzip and extract to desktop

3. Now click on the file you just unzipped

4. lets say you downloaded a chassis file (just to give you the idea)

5.when you click on the unzipped file (once) you should see a folder called data, misc and a 4 files .

6. now if you click on the unzipped file and you see the same folder again and you got to click again to see the files i talked about in sep 5 then you have a folder inside a folder .

7. this is the most common problem guys have and I'm sure thats what you got going on.

8. open the file up untill you see the game file I talked about and then click the back botton at the top left

9.now right click mouse and select "cut"

10. got to were you have the game on your pc and open up game

11. then open data file

12. click on cars(or what ever it is that you are putting in game)

13. right click mouse again and select "paste"

14. close all windows and try running game.
