interesting. I was bored today and i went back and looked at some articles that were submitted here on the vlr site. On page 28 there was an article from 2004 that i found interesting. Also an arguement between Faschek and Rowdy on a vlr season preview. I made a bunch of comments on many articles too cuz i was bored. I found an article that had a preview of an xcr season and it said this. "Squirrel - Watch out for this guy he may mix things up.....while being lapped." Haha i had a good laugh when i saw that.

Today theres basically a whole new wave of drivers from jsut a few years ago it seems besides a select few

Hello MHMS President,

We are discussing starting up a new tournament type deal, In which, every
week, 3 of the best members of 2 teams will compete in a fifteen lap race,
at a predetermined track, and at a predetermined time: An example would be
like this; October 20th- W.f.O vs. XRL, or something like that. Three
members of W.f.O. would be on teams, and three members of XRL would be on
teams, It is a football type series, I guess. 1st place would receive 10
pts. 2. 8 pts. 3. 6 pts. 4. 4 pts. 5. 2 pts. 6. 0 pts. The person who has
fast time during the race will receive 2 bonus points, to be rewarded to
their respective team; There is no qualifying. If their is a tie, after all
of the points are caculated, then the top finisher from each team, will
battle in a four lap shootout, and whoever wins will win that entire overall
competition. Each race will be 15 laps long, and will be held at the default
DTR2 tracks, to prevent cheating, and to prevent people from having to
download to many tracks. A site will definently be added if enough teams
show interest in competing, and we are hoping that everyone will have fun in
it. So if you would, please e-mail me back with what your intentions are. I
will be notifing several other DTR2 team presidents as well, to see what
they think about it. All races will be run with the Game Late Models, We are
hoping that 6 teams will sign up for it, Thanks,

i wish i could access the files on old comps i have that have basically crapped the bed

i know ive been around longer than that tho lol

If I had known the online racing community existed way back when......I'd of had everything still that I was involved in. I'm in posession of all 3 game discs and we have the computer we played DTR on.....and DTRSC.....and then DTR2 when it came out. Of course we're talking about when J-MAC was like 7-9 yrs old.....that was a long time ago....
