We have succeeded in getting DTR2 to work online again (without cars flying through the air). All it took was to download RivaTuner statistics Server and lock the frame rate of dtr2 to 120 and that stops the cars from flying through the air at the start. If you need help doing so just let me know.

Wild! I just went back down the rabbit hole of installing it, rounding up tracks and stuff, getting a handfull of offline series going and messin with stuff again. My history with DTR2 goes back to like 2005 when I started making skins for it. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside seeing someone talk about it. Also plan on dipping in to making a track or 2 just for kicks since I never dove in that deep back in the day but now I make mods and tracks etc for Beamng so this should be doable XD XD

Ya I didn't imagine there was much of an actual online racing community anymore so that's the avenue I was going for now as well. I have rounded up a hand full of working series from the list of links as well as a few that I sort of fixed or swapped tracks for diff versions etc. MANNNN are some of the later tracks that were made after I fell out of touch with DTR2 FAR better than I remember! I was mind blown at how far it came along! I'm just building a collection of cars, tracks, series, etc. and have begun to make a few series as well and round up editing tools. I have a lot of things to catch up on as far as editing stuff goes for cars and tracks but I'm a tinkerer so it's interesting to me lol.

Lemme know! Id be down to test out online racing with some of this sick track and car work that was done far after I lost touch with DTR2 back when. So far I been like a kid in a candy store loading um my DTR2 with every track car etc I can find, especially the newer stuff! I was mindblown on some of these tracks when I loaded in to them!
