You realize racing and signing up are totally different things, right? If there was a WDS race tonight and all 36 racers showed up I would be surprised and I know Gates would be, too. That's just saying 36 drivers plan/hope to make at least one or more races and they want to sign up to be able to race

How is it being a dick? It's the truth. 36 guys are signed up to compete in the series, not just one race, which would be 36 guys in the point standings if they all run. I think Gates said signing up is mandatory for the series so everyone who plans on even considering racing will sign up unless he makes exceptions on race night if someone forgot. I would say something else but you'd think I was being a dick then, too.

EDIT: There should be a biggest dick award. I should add that to the polls

Like Shock said, signing up prior to the first race in mandatory, after the first race starts registration is closed and no one else will be admitted (dont care if its even my own brother).

J-Mac I am pretty sure, that VLR had either 40 or 40+ for their first race this season (had a lot to do with DTR2 vS RFactor) but if I'm not mistaken VLR_18 won that!!!

yep hafta agree with f1 on that...sometimes circumstances ppl cant avoid causes some series' to fold, but no telling how many of these "fly by night" ones i've seen in just the past 3 or 4 yrs ive been on here. kinda makes u appreciate the ones that stay with it.
