Kokomo, Indiana (Jan. 8th, 2013) - Kokomo Raceway track prep team had the quarter-mile track racey and smooth for the opener of the second ever season of MACS, sponsored by team JFR. Twenty-one of the best sim dirt late model drivers showed up representing 15 different states. "We just want to thank everyone for coming out and giving us a record car count this season with the MACS in the opener, It was a great time," said Nick Waidler [MACS owner].

"Base Race Fuels"  Heat one was dominated by VLR_Shock, which suprised no one. He has been the dominator at Kokomo over the years. Doit 77 somehow found himself in 2nd place in the final transfer spot.

"Integra Shocks"  Heat two would see a familar face up front at Kokomo and winning the heat, with BLS BW getting his tires fired early to capture the Final Transfer spot behind WFO Ranger.

The "Allstar Performance"  Heat three would see two JFR cars take the transfer spots. It was JFR 17's first return to the dirt in a while and he claimed the heat, series champ JFR 16 rode behind him in 2ND.

The QUIK SIX dash seen VLR_Shock's Hoosier tires catch fire quick and check out. WFO Ranger jumped the cushion and slipped to the back after starting outside of Shock. JFR 17 showed how strong his Pro Power engine was as he finished 2nd. JFR 16 had slight contact with the 77 car and wound up 3rd. 77 took fourth, BLS BW held onto 5th with Ranger getting back into grove and took 6th.

It was finally time for the 10 best cars of the night to hit the track for the A main. No suprise as VLR Shock rolled them to the green as he went wire to wire and lead all 50 laps with ease. JFR 17 had been tapped and got loose and J16 machine got into 2nd. BLS BW caught fire and kept it as he pressured Faschek and took the second place spot after about a 10 lap battle, DOIT 77 seemed to be all over but ran a good 4th place race. JFR 17 started outside pole but fell all the way back to 9th but recovered showing he may be a force this season and got back to the top 5.

WFO Ranger battled with everyone once it seemed and wound up 6th, Teammate WFO Rain who was very quiet all night finished 7th after some heated battles he overrcome. Mav held off VLR Mcgee and XCR Trav who got into some trouble early.

VLR_Shock "I love coming up here to Kokomo because it seems like we can't do anything wrong here. It's just my type of track, short and flat, something we don't have many of down in Tennessee so it's good to escape to the flat lands and race. I was nervous before the race expecting a lot of cautions to keep the pressure on me but the great drivers that Logan gets here at the MACS series showed that you can race on a bullring without having cautions every lap and the race went caution free. I was glad to win over the largest crowd in MACS history."

JFR 16 "It was fun to race again. I liked the rolling starts and I loved the competition, I hope to win this season points championship as well. I wasnt as good as I wanted to be, I tried out the Mastersbilt instead of the Warrior, But I'll take the 3rd place run. I also wanna thank everyone for coming out and look forward to TVRv4 Next week."

JFR 17 "I am damn pleased with my top 5, I plan to be a contender and I am just glad to be back out racing again after a few months of issues"

BLS Kev "Although I missed the A, I was pleased with my run, I think one car has a lag issue and needs to fix it, I will be back next week to do it again"

BLS BW "I felt I had a good run and I will be back next week for TVRv4, I just love to race"

JFR Duster " I hate that Gages toter home ran out of fuel"

NEXT WEEK MACS PICKS BACK UP TUESDAY AT 9est, TVR v4, We hope to see you there!
