Barberville, Florida (Feb. 10th 2013)- The Volusia Speedway track prep team had the track ruined by all means for the night. The track was way too slick. Rumor had it that all 18 water trucks broke down in the long winter. This was race number two on the OTF circuit. 11 of the best sim dirt modified drivers in the world were on hand to witness this exciting night of racing.

“Dirt Modified Magazine” Heat 1 saw the 5th and 6th place starters (Ranger and Doit 97) work there way through the field to find them selves one and two. Third place starter Gates quickly found his way into the wall coming off of turns 1 and 2 and flipped all the way into the paramedic/ beer stand where they ended up wasting a lot of Miller Lite because Gates knocked his head on the steering wheel of his car and thought that he was Brad Keselowski and just won the championship. Meanwhile up front Ranger crossed the line winning followed by Doit 97 and BLS_34 to round out the transfers.

“Super Shox” Heat 2 was won by the EVR legend SIX. He led all 10 laps en route to the win. Followed behind in a close second was BLS_Kev and third was Orso.

The “Oddball 8” dash was dominated by third place starter Doit 97. Doit 97 dominated it but then there was a big battle for the second spot, but eventually BLS_34 took it home followed by Six, Ranger, Kev, and Orso.

It was now time for the big show. Doit 97 started on point and never looked back. Back in the field there was some good action and ERL J Mac started 8th and got up to 6th but then got loose and three cars got by him on the inside. Last place starter geisler did a start and park because he knew he had nothing for the top cars. Doit 97 won by an outstanding six seconds!. Followed by WFO Ranger and BLS Kev.

Doit 97, “I am very happy to get a win at OTF, they have some really good cars here. After I came late and had to start in the back of the heat race i wasn't sure if I could pull this one off, But I did.  I am very happy to be apart of OTF history, winning over the biggest crowd in history.”

WFO Ranger, “ I am satisfied with my run today. I thought I might have had something for Ice after I won my heat but i guess I had nothing to offer.”

BLS Kev, “I was just cherry picking to a third place finish. I knew I had to get a top 5 because BLS_Jsn did not show up, so now I am leading the points!”

XCR Gates “I was scared after that big crash I had, luckily all those beers I had before the race helped me.”

Kingpin, “I am very disappointed that I did not make my own show. Other than that I thought it was a good show, besides the track.

Next week we will be at BMS Lebanon Valley. Same time. Same Place. (VLR Vent)
