(3/1/15) Corning Iowa - Team ICE and VLR headed to Adams County Speedway for it's season finale in the Crate Late Models. 14 cars made it out to the season finale. Going into the race, only two drivers could be champion, ICE_M9 and VLR_Shock. These two drivers knew that they had to beat one another to win the points with Momper leading Shock by just three points.

Heats rolled out with only two heats tonight. As usual, Momper took his heat, but surprisingly BLS_JMAC pulled out a victory in his heat. The dash was also took by Momper. Could Momper take a sweep tonight winning the heat, dash, and feature? Time will tell. AIR_18 takes the B-Main after giving up his spot to the redhead, ICE_KG, after their heat race.

With everything wrapped up, it was time for the Champions 40. At the drop of the green it was Momper jumping out to a lead. Following closely behind was VLR_Shock. As the two got out in front, there was trouble in the middle of the pack as XCR_RB! got loose once again and was finished off by KG and that took both of their fast cars out of the race. Every driver was searching for a spot to settle down in for a few laps but could not find one. Momper and Shock were off to the races as they pulled out and ahead.

Wheel, like he always does, came from the back of the field and positioned himself in third and gained on Momper and Shock. Wheel got to them with ten laps to go. First he had to maneuver around Shock. Then as the laps winded down, he pulled along side Momper. Momper and Wheel were side-by-side for the last two laps. They came off turn four on the last lap 2-wide, with Momper in front by a hair. But Wheel got a run off the corner and passed Momper at the last possible second and beats him by 0.02 seconds!

Running Order: AIR_18, ICE_M9, BLS_JMAC, DeadBolt, VLR_Shock, XCR_TM!, ICE_KG, ICE_KK, MikeM_30 (DNF), WFO_Ranger (DNF)

With the race wrapped up, it was time to decide the points. ICE_M9 took the championship by just 7 points! Good Job!

In two weeks, ICE-VLR will have an All-Star Race @ TBA. It's a great track and should provide great racing!
