If these people can really do this then there will be A LOT more track editors in dtr2, because it would really simplify it.

When shock and i first looked into doing this it was nearly a year ago so i made an all new post on this coder site and we will see what all it interest it generates.We never know we could find someone who is a great coder on here that may do it cheaper.Here is the link to the site and we can all see how it unfolds.As soon as the bidding is done we can see if we want to go forth with trying to raise the funds up to make this happen.

I was there about a year or so ago after that cenco dude done the parsing code for shock for the fast 10s.If ya remember Joe I was after code to put password prompts on the browser servers.The price for that alone was around $700. I remember also discusing having code wrote to allow 15 cars or more into multiplayer races like in single player mode.Thinking that since the game allows it in single player mode there shouldnt be too much too it to get it to work the same in multi. However I was told that because of the age of the game that with all the perimters that would have to be upgraded it would probably be cheaper to just start over lol. Which brings me to my next question. Have you or Shock or anyone you know of as far as that goes ever tried to get in contact with Rick Harrison or Greg Siegele to see if they ever thought of maybe getting back into it and developing a dtr3?

i have greg on facebook and he said all the original stuff is gone and he really couldnt help.Rick Harrison runs pawnstars im not sure how he could help. haha jk i havent got ahold of rick

well guys we have 10 bids on our project ranging from $300 -$2000 so far.Looks like we have alot of interest in the project.

how does everyone feel about us getting a group of respected DTR2 guys to make up a board of trustees to decide which programmer we use and the cost and all that stuff?Maybe the editors and each established team choose a guy to sit in for them?

That sounds like a good idea F1yer. Maybe the head of each team like when we went with ©Right Call !
