WFO Season Racap Week 1 started out in Muskogee Oklahoma where the action was fast and furious as Shock surprised the world and came home the victor and started off strong on the year.

Week 2 would be more of the same at Bloomington 2k11 as Shock once again was able to find his way to the front and made it 2 in a row and was looking like the championship frontrunner.

Week 3 they would head to Georgetown where the 1st use of the Right Call would take place and would give Stealth the win. Shock would finish 2nd still extending his points lead.

Week 4 at McKean would be a great battle between Shock and Wheel with Shock coming home with his 3rd win in 4 weeks and looked like he would dominate the series.

Week 5 Wheel would break through for his 1st win of the series with Doit 5 finishing 2nd. Shock would take a major hit in points by not making the “A” feature due to some heavy contact but still remained the points leader.

Week 6 Wheel would prove he wasn’t the only VLR driver that could win multiple times at WFO as he made it 2 in a row with JW making a strong run and finishing 2nd.

Week 7 would see the favorite Ice not make the trip but he chose a great sub as JW would win at Knox Day with Shock getting 2nd and Wheel 3rd.

Week 8 at Boone Wheel would win again and start to creep up on Shock for the points lead.

Week 9 would see a great battle between 6 drivers. Contact between Wheel and Rain coming out of turn 4 would see Wheel give up the win and offer his spot to Rain for the contact. Ice would finish 2nd and Wheel would get credit with 3rd. Shock would miss the race and drop out of the points lead.

Week 10 they would head to the nations capital at Capital City V2 and Wheel would continue his domination and win for the 4th time on the season and becoming the front runner in the series.

Week 11 Wheel would miss but would garner 1st place points by having JSN sub for him. JSN would pick up his 1st win of the year at Upper Iowa and would tell the big boys that he was a serious player.Week 12 would head to Terre 2k11 and Wheel would win for the 6th time and start to run away with the points.Week 13 at Missouri Mudpit V2 would see Ice come back to action and pick up his 1st win of the season by outdueling Wheel and Rain on an exciting last lap.

Week 14 Ice would make it 2 in a row by winning at Brownstown 2k11. Wheel would clinch the WFO championship with his 4th place finish. In Week 15 WFO will be hosting their season ending race at WFO 2k11. This track has finally been regripped and will make for some great side by side action.

We hope to see everyone show up for this event that has historically had some great racing.  Several drivers have conquered this race including Rain, Ice, 17va, Wheel just to name a few. We will also be having a test and tune Friday night at 8ct to test the best wetness for the track and will be decided that night and posted on www.teamvlr.com so everyone can practice over the weekend.
