MUSKOGEE, OK (August 24, 2011)-- With the Lucas Oil Summer Sizzler Series season just over half way finished WFO Ice is leading the points by 52 points over VLR Wheel. Wheel has missed 2 races however and is by far the most consistent driver on tour with an average finish of 1.58.

This has been one of the most competitive series in DTR2 history. Week 1 was all about Rain. Rain was able to win comfortably at Thunderbird 2k11 at DOIT with Wheel not making the show due to a prior engagement. At WFO however it was a bit more competitive but with Rain able to go 2 for 2 to start the LOSS Series. WFO would make it 3 for 3 as Ice grabbed his 1st win of the season at BLS_Superspeedway by beating Wheel by about 3 inches.

Wheel would turn the tables on Ice at WFO and grab his 1st win of the season with Ice a close 2nd. Shock would call his shot during the 3rd week of the LOSS series by guaranteeing a win at Norfolk and coming through with his 1st win of the series.

Wheel would carry the VLR torch at WFO and would win easily over Superman picking up his 2nd win of the season. The Loss series would then head to Knoxville 2k11 and see some great action. Ice would edge Wheel by .01 seconds on the DOIT side. Same song different verse at WFO as Ice would again win by .01 seconds over Wheel to grab his 3rd win of the season.

Week 5 would see some great racing at PDR V2 as JSN and Doit 3 would have a great battle for the win. JSN would pick up his 1st win of the year along with giving BLS their 1st win. Wheel would dominate at the WFO side of things as he would win by over 3 seconds for his 3rd win of the season.

Week 6 would see VLR dominance as Wheel was able to fend off the field after a late caution. Ice would benefit by moving from 5th to 2nd in the final 6 laps. Wheel would pick up win #4 and #5 at Farmer City as Wheel would once again come home with the checkers. Week 7 would see new DOIT member D88x pay off and grab his 1st win at Lernerville 2k11 by holding off the hottest driver in DTR2 as Wheel would come home 2nd.

At the topless side Ice would come from the B-Main to grab the feature win. 5 drivers would have a shot at the win but a thunderstorm would roll in with 2 laps to go and the race would be called with Ice edging Wheel by about 2 inches at the line and picked up win #4 on the season.
