Heat 1
The heat 1 lineup would see VLR_Shock starting on the front row in first. VLRs newest member, Rac03 would start next to him. Tyner_052 was third. [GRT][56] lineup in fourth, with SnJ_Steve and IGGR_Ph1sh rounding out the starters.

There was action right from the start, but Shock was able to pull away from the early chaos. IGGR_Ph1sh had a good run and quickly worked his way all the way to second after starting in sixth. At the start, in turn one,  SnJ_Steve got into Tyner, sending him over the track and ending his day early.

Meanwhile, [GRT][56] was able to get around VLR_Rac03 for third and secure the last transfer spot if he could hang on. Up front though, Ph1sh was able to slowly begin catching Shock, even though there were many battles for the position behind them.

Ultimately in the end though, Ph1sh ran out of time and Shock earned his first A Main pole of the season after winning the heat. Ph1sh was close behind in second, and [GRT][56] was not far behind in third. The B Main transfers were VLR_Rac03, SnJ_Steve, and Tyner_052. The fast lap of the heat was 12.87 by GRT and Ph1sh.

Heat 2
Mr_Clean16 lined up on the pole in the second heat. joshow20 started on the outside of the row in second. The third place starter was VLR_razz and KPR_Smoke started beside him in fourth. Iceman03 rounded out the starters in 5th.

At the start of the race, joshow20 hit Mr_Clean and he hit the flagman to take care of razz's usual duties (that's a joke! lol). Of course, Mr_Clean was not that happy and he wasn't able to finish the heat after the wreck.

In the day's tradition, once again another last place starter in the heat was able to rally up to second place. Last time, it was IGGR_Ph1sh who made the stunning comeback, this time though, it was first time VLR racer, Iceman.

KPR_Smoke was able to make the pass over VLR_Razz for third place in heat 1. By the end of the race though, joshow20 had secured the lead and he would go on to win and earn second place starting spot in the race. Iceman03 managed to come home in second, and KPR_Smoke secured the final A Main position after finishing third. Razz came home fourth, and Mr_Clean16 was in 5th.

B-Main
The B Main starters were VLR_Rac03, VLR_razz, Mr_Clean16, SnJ_Steve, VLR_ks, and Tyner_052. Unfortunately, VLR_ks was unable to get into the chatroom and he was forced to start at the rear of the B Main after winning the A Main last season.

At the start there were some problems and SnJ_Steve was unable to get into the server in time and so the race started without him. The race featured lots of action and great battling. VLR_Rac03 and VLR_razz were unable to stay up front early on.

VLR_ks and Tyner_052 proved that they had some fast cars and they eventually were able to work their way up to first and second, proving their abilities. Mr_Clean16 wasn't able to finish the race because of some problems and he dropped out early on. Meanwhile, ks and tyner were flying and ks was turning great laps.

As they crossed the line at the finish, it was VLR_ks driving his #18 Stanger 2000 to the B Main victory. Tyner_052 finished second, and VLR_razz FINISHED 3rd. Another VLR driver rounded out the pack, VLR_Rac03. Mr_Clean and Steve both had DNFs.

A-Main
The A Main was definitely one of the most exciting ones we have seen in a long time. Right on the first lap, joshow20 and IGGR_Ph1sh were able to get around pole sitter VLR_Shock to take positions second and third, respectively.

Since the racers had already done two restarts in order to make sure the race went off without a hitch, the drivers agreed that this time the race would continue no matter what, unless there was something that happened on lap 1.

Unfortunately, there was, but none of the racer's noticed and they continued on. The incident involved [GRT][56] and Iceman. According to the official replay, the racers headed down the straightaway and GRT slid up high into Iceman and Iceman went over the wall.

The common rule is to go backwards when an incident happens like above, but on impulse he instantaneously exited the race and no one noticed it and so they continued on.  This would result in Iceman being awarded GRTs finish and vice versa. 

As the laps rolled on, Ph1sh would catch joshow20, but then the two would make contact and Ph1sh would drop back just a little. Finally, Ph1sh got a great run and was able to get around joshow20 for the lead. This didn't last long at all, though, and joshow20 went right back by him in the very next turn.

Every time Ph1sh would take the lead, joshow20 was right there to bounce back and take it over. Soon, with only a few laps to go, the unexpected happened. Right after joshow20 had completed a pass around Ph1sh, joshow20 made contact on him while he was under him in the straight after getting a good run.

Ph1sh slipped up over the track and once he got straightened out he was already in third, and in grave danger of losing fourth to [GRT][56]. joshow20 was still unable to pull away from the new second place racer, KPR_Smoke, who was in his second VLR race this season. Smoke quickly caught joshow20 and a great battle ensued.

The racers were practically side by side for about 5 laps, and with all their battling, IGGR_Ph1sh quickly was able to catch back up. This made for some great racing with only a handful of laps to go. The racers were nose to tail for positions 1-3, as they wound down the laps.

With about 5 laps to go, Ph1sh set his sites on KPR_Smoke and Smoke showed extreme sportsmanship and he let the faster car go by. Ph1sh quickly tracked down joshow20 and it was about to late to make a pass unless he done it quickly.

On the last lap, Ph1sh went to go around joshow20 in the first turn, but joshow20 would have nothing of it and he rolled back out in front.

The racers headed down into the final turn and then joshow20 rolled across the line in first for his second ever VLR win. Ph1sh crossed in right behind him, and Smoke was a half second behind those two.

Another half second back was [GRT][56] in fourth, but of course his finish would not stand because of the early on incident. VLR_Shock crossed the line 5th after starting on the pole after getting hit early in the race.

Of course, Iceman was the unlucky racer of the day, but he would get 4th place points after the early race accident. All in all though, it was the best race you could ask for, featuring some close, hard racing for the win.

The fastest lap of the race was turned by IGGR_Ph1sh, and he had a 12.80 in the feature. Well, that's all the time we have this week, and we hope to see you guys again next week as the racers take on Harrison, a track which is sure to please the fans and drivers alike.
