It's pretty good but I think with Faschek leaving it could cause turmoil.

The tracks are the best of any dirt game. The cars are the best of any dirt games. The graphics and sound are average. The only thing that would make it better is if all the old school drivers to come back (All the EVR, IGGR, OAS, GLH, JFR guys). It dont seem like it was that long ago that if you made the feature it was a hell of a night. More than anything I would love to see Wheel, A2D, Shock, F1, Rain, BW, and even the best in the world Fascheck go up against the likes of Lenny, 5150, BR...night in and night out. I remember being in the old ODAS series and being in a heat starting on the pole with Lenny, BR, Xpress, Kevin Upman (I cant remember his racing name), and EVR_Kevin. Talk about having some speed behind you!

I would just like to see them come back period since I never got to race with them before. I seen old videos on youtube that Shock put up and they were some damn good drivers and seemed like some good guys from what I hear..maybe someday they might get some lead out and come back

I think if the old guys was racing today you would still be following them. I believe they would have grown just as you did as the game progressed. If you dont think so go visit the browser and give 114 a challenge (EVR_JV Doit 14)I think you will find he is as fast as anybody and way cleaner that most that race today.including myself.

I would like to add that all drivers just didn't get all that much faster in time.
You have to remember in 1999 most of was still on a dial up account and the internet speeds just wasn't available. Lap times were lower because the internet was slower, secondly CPU speeds was way slower a DX66 was as fast as it got unless you was lucky enough to afford a Pentium. Most of us are running a 4 core or now the new 8 core or if you got money you might have the new I7 processor and the Video cards now have 2 gigs of video memory and most of you have Good Cable 12meg down and 6meg up. THATS WHY your faster today than 10 years ago.

I got one of those new ASUS computers with the 2 video cards, 425 gigs on the hard drive and all that good stuff, able to control my cooling fans, D11 said its a damn good computer for racing and i've gotten alot more consistent with it. Karl is right JV is one of the toughest in browser, me and him have some damn good racing especially at rodeo and peak, I just gotta catch his draft of terre lol so I can get some 13's and keep up

Woods, D11 is right, That computer is excellent for this game. I am assuming it is a AMD processer with CROSSFIRE technology or SLI if its Intel each Video Card probley has 1 gig of ram. The new GeForce cards have 3 gigs each of Ram like a GeForce GTX 590 there really pricy at $750 bucks each.

One thing most people don't know is, the lead car sets the pace for the server syncronasation as the faster car (INTERNET & CPU SPEEDS) passes whos leading, the server locks on to the faster lead car, when Wheel gets into the lead the server will run faster thus making everyone faster this will sometimes give you faster laps at the end of a race than when the slower car was in the lead. The samething applies when a car with a high ping is leading everyones car will be more laggy but when passed by a low pinger the server syncs the leader and less lagg will be noticed. Some people think if the host has a high ping the server will lagg, that is a myth the host only controls the start switch.
