Why give them away when we have a free download?

But will you always? Does your free download have a $25 price tag? Your free download was created by the hard work of another. These fine folks that do all these things for the community may not always be willing to or will not always be around. But because today's generation is so spoiled and expects everything to be handed to them they expect these utilities to always be here. Was just trying to help promote a big show for the community. Shock has put up a lot of his own money not only to the purse but in advertising promotion. Was just trying to help.And I cant tell you how many people over the years have asked for these discs. Oh thank you for "considering" a donation to the site if I build you Raceway 7. How about you donate to the site that provides you everything you have in this game for nothing including support and I'll "consider" building Raceway 7 sometime.

I like the idea of the full game prize. Be nostalgic to have a full copy unopened. I will autograph the first 2 copies as my gift to the community

Oh, and I just figured that i would donate to you since that guy who wanted those Aussie tracks done offered $100 you perked right up, but since I'm not offering as much you will give me a lecture? And I never said it wasn't a good idea to give them away, maybe save them until the download goes away. I can see the novelty of owning one, it just seems kinda wasteful to give them away when Shock offers a better option for us.

Dude, I want one lol. That's a great idea for sure, for collecting purposes even if you don't plan to open it. That's cool man. I would like to make you an admin on the DTR2 Facebook page so even more people will see it, which is mostly guys who don't race online anyway. Thanks for everything you do ray.

I'm very happy I happened to catch you online almost 3 years ago when you uploaded the tracks lol. F1yer and I thought you had a lot of potential and you've definitely been a bigtime help keeping this game going!

It's really no big deal I love doing the editing more than I love the racing I just get annoyed every once in a while when the meds wear off lol. But TY

Well for one you never ever mentioned a $$$ amount so that point is out the window.
For 2 that is an old post that I just never seen before and since we have already dealt with William before and he was good for his word on the donation I thought I would chime in.
For 3 Yes Shock is giving you a better option at the moment, I don't consider giving them away as wasteful when I am just trying to promote the race and some more interest in this game.
Finally none of the $$$ I ask to be donated to the site goes to me,it's just my way of helping Shock get some donations to off set some of the cost of this site,the servers and vent so he doesn't have to absorb the entire cost.
And just for the record lecture is what I do. I am a father of 5 kids with the youngest being older than you so it kinda comes as second nature. If it doesn't apply to you don't be offended.

Id love to race but wifes laptop just wront let me and then i dont have any net to use on race day hopping get back soon though

mine? almost 4 weeks old my older daughter 14 and my step son be 16

Exactly Ray. And yes, William has donated $100 for a track to be built for him in the past. And Ray doesn't get any of the money, he is just one of the guys who cares about the community and supports, and is a huge part of what we try to do on here.
