Crossville is 102 degrees right now! Checking to see if that is there all-time high temperature record ...

been in the 100s all week... yesterdays heat index was 130 here in omaha very humid here keeps that index way up

Damn, why would you care to know what the temperature in Cookeville is Shock. Sounds like your going to the gaybar tonite? And i would get out of Nebraska if i were you KP. Does anyone even go outside when its that shitty out? That's gotta be brewing up some severe weather too i would think?

Lmmmfao cause where I work is pretty much halfway between Cookeville and Crossville, but the weather is more Crossvillesque than Cookeville due to it being on the plateau.

The bank said 104 on my way home. When I got home it was 103! That's a record for any day here.

we just had a server storm go through 80+ mpr winds broke 1 of power lins on pole across roade and sent 3 transformers in fireworks disply trees down in cars in houses pretty much crazy

My temperature thing says it's 101.7 already outside but I'm not sure if it's because the sun is lower in the sky right now facing it or something, but it's 97 in Crossville already with higher humidity than yesterday!

Same here! And I think weather.com is broken because suddenly it's saying a 100% chance of rain tonight randomly out of nowhere and no other weather forecasts are calling for it. I hope they are right and it's not a glitch because we need it bad!!! Day 2 of shattering the all time record high temperature here. I'm going to a demo derby tonight so that should be fun considering it was still 99 degrees on the bank last night at 8pm
when I went to the store.

Hey Jim, Come see if you can handle 90+* with 90% humidity!!!! It's like trying to breath under water in a Jacuzi lol. I would take -80* anyday right now!!! ALL of our July 4th fireworks have been cancled due to no rain. We got about 1/2 inch the other day with 40mph winds so the rain dried up VERY quick. Looks like the cornfields are going to produce "Chinese" corn this year! Maybe the Cayotes will get a lil sumin this year, cause that's all the crops are going to be good for. They are polinating right now, but with no moisture the cobs are not growing. Biggest cob I have seen is a lil over 4 inches long and 1 inch wide. After the stock tassles, the cob should be about 8 inches long and 3 inches wide, so we are WAY UNDER what should have been the best grow ever.

IDC if it's -80 or 115, I don't wanna be out in it

Lost power here today too. And we haven't had a soaking rain since June 17th. Gonna be near 100 here on Friday.

Man it sure is a different heat up there too - i know first hand - but thanks god they have creeks everywhere up there - i miss my home i really do and all of my family is up there also - Praying for those and yours too man - this really hits home it really does!!
