I am getting a registry restore error resing file 'data\cars\latecamaro\car.str':parsing failure. I only got this error after going into a USRA server. I was able to run a league race right before i went into their server, and was able to run league race at doit last night, but as soon as I entered thier server my game crashed and said that. Can someone help, because apparently u can take the default car out of the game but I dont know how to remove it, and I wouldnt know where to download a default car, Sounds fishy to me!!!

Try going to your cars folder and deleting the folder latecamaro. Did you download a skin before going in?

no i deleted all of them and there is no car or folder late camaro

I havnt done anything but put the redeye track in today

The thing is, the file is not a file in my game. its saying its data\cars\latecamaro and i dont have a late camaro in my cars folder. I took all files out of my game and it still didnt work. It's kinda funny it worked right before I entered USRA's server.

take all u want out and dounload game agian

see that kinda makes me wonder if it has anything to do with the program doit is trying to run on thier servers? if usra uses doit servers???

id say uninstall ur game but keep add on stuff just re add when u have re instaled game see if it lets u load it after u re install if it does add ur skin and car folder then see id say someone edited default cars and packed in there folder and thats y u get error but i could be wrong im not sure what they use

from my point of view , my opinion , the situation does seem a bit odd - one person shows up with a track downloaded from a website - something happens that kills his game

someone at the event says they know why and what is wrong , does that make it easy to point a finger at the person who says they know what is wrong -- Yes , because its a person that has been known to cheat at one point in time

is that what is/has happened in the incident stated that happened today - we may never know

to the best of my knowledge we have fixed the one persopns game that was killed - the race was run with no other incident

was it because of some strange file? i have no idea
was it because of cheating on one end or the other? i have no idea

all im saying is that it is easy to jump to a conclusion when there is a history that follows someone , and we as a dtr2 community arent quick to forget
