Hi guys Im Tom Ames, from NY and I have been around racing online for awhile with dtr2 and friends with Crazy(made a ton of tracks) and yenko2 who is on here, Also the DIRT Pro Stocks I did i see that yenko has posted them in the download section, THANKS!!!...

I was part of and helped run the IDRS which when it ended years ago was one of the longest running Internet racing Series at the Time. IDRS= (Internet Dirt Racing Series)..

I helped Crazy run a couple of DTR2 Summit series races when FUO was around and also helped out on a few tweaks with some tracks and such...

Now I have my old PC back and been looking through my files and trying to get back into racing with DTR2 as it is the best dirt racing game around for the PC..

I would like to get a series going, not a League, but more than rather like a King of the Hill event(s), or what I like to call it SROD = Sim Racers on DIRT based on some of the major series like the WoO Sprints and Lates, and seeing I'm in NY most likely Northeast Style DIRT Modifieds along with the nationally known IMCA/UMP Style Modified as well.

Which is the best IMCA/UMP Mod out there right now?
I'm thinking that the Late Model Chassis will be the WoO Late model made by DW (ITS FUN and HARD)
The Sprint car chassis will most likley be the edited version by DW that used the DTRSC chassis but made it better handling.

I'm working on a few others, so any help would be great..

The USMTS are the best Modified chassis around (2 chassis...1 with spoiler and 1 without). I looked at your Woo schedule and many of those tracks are not ran anymore. We have great new tracks out that are multi-grooved and make for killer racing. We also run the Gen4 and Gen5 chassis now for LM shows and the Sprints are the BLS Sprints. Talk to guys like F1yer, Shock, and Jammin because they are some track makin SOB's.

Yeah man lots has changed since you left and all those chassis you mentioned are far outdated IMO, as well as the tracks on the schedule. Just looking at the schedule I am gonna make a list of newer versions of the tracks that have came out so you can look at replacing some of them.

Kokomo Speedway - There's a 2k12 version of this that's pretty much spot on.

Sharon Speedway - There's a 2k12 version updated form the original DW one with more two grooved racing.

Eldora Speedway - There's a 2k10 version and several others

KC Raceway- New version of this just released the other day (Renamed Atomic Speedway, though)

Williams Grove Speedway- There's a night version of this now with different grip.

Lernerville Speedway- There's a 2011 version of this one that's much closer to the real one.

OCFS- Just been released in December. Very Very close to the real one.

Lebanon Valley Speedway- New one just released last month here on VLR.

Huset's Speedway- There's a 2k11 version of this with multi groove racing.

Dirt Track At Lowes- There's a 2009 version of this one.

I made that site in 2007...LOL figured most were outdated, just posted the link so that you all can see my format ideas, and such with the sprints....

I just tried that dang woo lm and that is not as user friendly as I remember.lol I'll defintly be changing the classes and chassis for sure, thanks for the info icefighter.

one big question, what ELDORA track is the best one for both online and offline racing? point me in the right direction that would help out a ton. (becuase there are so many of them)

i found the ifrt site last night and found all the tracks, thanks to all for the help, now to figure out what tracks need to go and which ones stay...lol I can't wait to go racing online again soon, and just last night my dang usb controller crapped out.... you know how hard it is to race with the keyboard? NOT FUN!!!!! LOL
