JFR story

LAS VEGAS, NV (Aug. 13, 2011) -- The start to JFR first series ever has been a wild one to say the least, from VLR's dominance early in the season to people getting rough and rowdy with each other after the races with plenty of yelling to go around. The rest of the season is sure to play out as one to never forget. Come on out and enjoy the intensity of racing at JFR every Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. eastern time in the Gen 4 Late Models.

JFR brings out the best drivers from all of the DTR2 world to participate in this chance to win five dollars and race and the ultimate goal of winning the thirty dollars in championship money at the end of the season. With new action every race its something that you don't want to miss.

"It's been a lot of fun so far," said the current runner-up in the point standings, VLR_Shock. "Every week has been a challenge here at JFR and it's been wild. I like the fact that the rules are more laid back than most series which puts the emphasis on racing and having fun more than worrying about if you rub someone or not and have to give them your finishing spot.

"JFR is definitely one of my favorite series to run already and so far all the shows have gone smoothly. A2D and 4H have done a great job promoting the series and giving us a great place to race every Tuesday night."

Other drivers who have competed in the series so far run down like a who's who of DTR2. Current points leader VLR_18 is one of the most talented driver in DTR2 history and has six VLR Championships to his name, while looking to add his first at JFR.

"I just come out every week to try to run good and win and so far it's been going good," said the 16 year old Wisconsin driver. "It would mean a lot to me to win the first JFR championship and the money that comes along with it. I've had a blast and I think everyone should race with these guys."

VLR_Superman caps off VLR's current dominance in the point standings as he sits third in the rundown just three races in as of this writing. The Knoxville, TN driver rarely runs a full schedule at any DTR2 series, but so far the man they call "Superman" sits just 11 points out of the point lead.

"We've been running good all season so far, but I'm just trying to get a win now," said the University of Tennessee student. "With school about to start back I'm not sure if I will be able to run the full season so I want to try to go out with a bang and put some pressure on my teammates up there."

JFR's first contender is the "Hindman Hotshot" JFR_4H, who currently sits in fourth with seven races to go. The Kentucky driver is possibly known more for his mouth than his driving ability, but is certainly underrated in the second category. 4H is a driver who can never be counted out and is known for sneaking up and pulling off victories when nobody expects it.

"I'm hot as hell, man. My autograph lines are always the longest and I get laid the most after the races," JFR_4H said about something totally unrelated to the JFR season. "You all better hide your wives from me because once they see Faschek here they gonna be committing adultery. I'm amazing, I'll be leading the points when it really counts, don't worry. Giggity."

Fellow JFR teammate JFR_Jim aka "The Alaskan Assassin" sits solidly in the top five of the point standings, improving week after week while looking for his first win at JFR, and the second of his short DTR2 career.

"I'm not full on beast mode just yet like A2D or 4H, but I'm working on my swag and I'll be rocking soon," said the Jim Falls, AK driver, JFR_Jim. "I always crank up my game when it cools down up here for some reason so look for me to be racking up the wins like 4H does the girls come fall.

"JFR puts on a hell of a show because that's all we know how to do!"

Kokomo, IN driver BLS_v6 currently resides 6th in the standings, with the "Crazy Canadian" Doit 49 of Waterloo, Ontario in seventh. Rookie JFR_17 is making an impressive name for himself as he holds down eighth in the standings right now, followed by 13-year old tnjon22 of Clarksville, TN and Wichita, KS driver Doit_5.

JFR has recently announced a raise in the purse including money going to the team who finishes with the most team points at JFR along with the person on the winning team receiving $10 in their pocket. The final series champion will take home $30 for their efforts with $5 going to the winner of each weeks event.

The fans have been rolling in every week as the car counts continue to rise with more people finding out about the series and the amount of fun it is to race at JFR. The prizes are top notch in this economy and the drivers that run with us deserve it for putting on a show for the fans each and every week.

We hope to see you at JFR! Leave the b*tchin' at the house and Just F*ckin' Race! Remember, Tuesday nights at 8:00 p.m. eastern in the Gen 4 cars is where you can join in on the action! Visit out site www.teamjfr.com!
