Is this a mile track?

utica rome isnt the mile track from up in NY thats syracuse
utica rome is where lucas oil has had a race the past 2 season (i think)

says its a 1/2 mile speedway on the big track

This is a half mile track in Vernon,NY....Home of the New Yorker 200

Yes Lucas Oil and World of Outlaws Latemodels run there

i always want to get up there for those races but damnit if they arent mid week shows with aboout a 4 hour drive
usually some of the local drivers from here go up

yeah its about an hour drive for me......funny thing is i always wanted to get down to pa for some races...lol... im going to Grandview next year for the 76er its payin 50,000 to win next year....usually pays 20,000 i think

grandview was about a 7 hour drive for me , i went out there a couple years ago for the outlaws swing thru pa mid week deal
grandview is defintly a big block track , they race hard out there , the fan base wasnt to interested in seein late models even the woolms
fun place tho , we sat near turn 1 , i dont think theres a bad seat(view) there , even from the pit entrance onto the track is a really cool view

just within the last couple years i have been easing in the latemodels......been into the Mods forever

prolly helps ease them in when tey come up in your neck of the woods a few times a year , and havin tmac coffey fuller white all runnin them
and i seen where they been tryin to run crates up in NY too as a weekly division

Yeah T-Mac is one of my favorites in WoO and i like Bloomquist and Owens in Lucas Oil. But that Tyler Reddick is gonna be great....he wont be on dirt long....lol..............i also heard that about the crates....Glenn Donnelly(the old owner of DIRT) is building a 3 track complex north of Syracuse.............a road coarse,a drag strip and a synthetic dirt track.....supposed to be world class

I heard about the track thing. Apparently there were talks of the half mile dirt track they plan on building replacing Super Dirt Week at Syracuse.

Lucas Oil lates also come to Fonda. Just sayin. Gotta support my home track.

And I can't wait to see Utica Rome. All these tracks that I've been to and know what they look like, I want them to be exact and perfect. Don't be offended if I don't like the way it looks. I'm overly critical.....to the point where it really doesn't help.

Oh no doubt. You do something enough and you're bound to get better eventually. It works that way with everything in life. Even for a moron like me.

Its alright, but its not really all there. The grand stands start like 1/4 way down the front stretch, The gate on the front to get into the pits isn't there, the section of stands in turn 1 isn't there and neither is the gate on back stretch. The banking in the corners is good. But the banking is the same all the way around, the straights don't have that much. Not sure if its possible to flatten it out like that or not, I don't make tracks. Wish I could but I can't. The overall shape is pretty much there, The size of the track seems like its wider than in the game. Its kinda alot of just visual stuff except the banking.

I'm basing most of this off the view from the pits since thats what I see mostly when I'm there. I haven't been around the track itself to see the view from on the track. I'm just happy to see people making tracks I know and just making tracks period. More tracks = more options for racing and that could be more racing, which is almost always a good thing.
