Hey everybody,
After taking a hiatus from DTR2 for a few months, I have come back to the game with a desire to paint more sprint car skins. I haven't gotten a lot of feedback on what I've uploaded so far, but that's okay. I know I'm not very good at painting them, but it's fun for me.
To have fun with painting, I originally made 60 original skins for sprint cars so that I could run an offline series. Most were made with my real life friends in mind, so the sponsors were based largely on inside jokes, my friends' places of businesses, and their real life cars.
I'd love to get some input on where to go next in painting subpar sprint car skins. That's where you come in. I'll post the next 12 skins I make in a pack.
I like making fairly clean looking skins with one or two primary sponsors.
Option 1: The best of beer (Coors, Miller, Bud Select, Corona, and of course PBR would be included in a 12-pack of 12-pack inspired skins)
Option 2: Auto part related stuff (In looking through what I have already made, auto part related sponsors are lacking. In real life, they are the driving force of motorsports sponsorships. Skins would include NAPA, Gumout, Goodyear, Valvoline, and whatever else I can think of)
Option 3: 90's NASCAR (I made a Havoline skin inspired by Davey Allison's car already. I'd include skins for Earnhardt, Kulwicki, Rusty Wallace, old school Mark Martin, and maybe some requests)
Option 4: some other suggestion from the forum I haven't thought of.
Anyway, enough rambling... let's race some sprint cars.
