So a few months ago, I downloaded the DTR2 full install for the sole purpose of ripping and editing the models for NASCAR Heat and rFactor, but a couple of days ago, I played it, and I had a blast! I don't care if we're more than ten years behind, it's still a fun game! It's nice and arcade-style. It may have its problems, but has a high fun factor. I'm still racing Heat and rF, but DTR2 is there in the mix now as well. I'm working on SNAS Super Stocks 2016 using Gen5 as a base, and SNAS UMP Modifieds 2016 using BLS USMTS Modifieds as a base (F1yer gave me permission). I'm doing better in DE2 editing, and especially the modifieds are turning out great, not trying to brag, but they're the most accurate-looking IMCA/UMP Modifieds I've seen for DTR2. So whazzup, guys?

That's cool Davey. I also have a new-to-us de2 editor which helps make some tracks easier. It exports directly to 3ds and imports back in. It works for chassis too. I can post it if interested. If you use Rhino3d it tends to lose verts at most tracks though which can screw things up, but tracks like Bloomington, Husets, 41st Street and a few other it works OK. If you use 3ds Max I think it will work with every track though without losing any data.

Yeah that sounds good! Please upload it! I could probably use it in Rhino 4 if it's 3ds format, and no more confusing Excel crap.

You can use it in Rhino 4, but like I said it only works with a few dtr2 tracks. In 3ds max they all work though.

Yeah, you're right about that. I tried to edit a body in 3DS format in Rhino 4 with the new editor and it scrambled it. I might try 3DSMax R3 or 2016. Thanks for sharing! B)
