With our latest BLS series coming to an end, we are looking to move forward with a few changes to our latest, upcoming series. The series will be moving to Tuesday nights, instead of the traditional Wednesday night time slot. This will help me, since I will be promoting this series and will be in class on Wednesdays starting in August. It will also give JMAC time to prepare his new SDC series that will follow the BLS series when it ends. Also, it will hopefully turn more attention to Gates' WDS series on Wednesday nights. The BLS series will race at 9:00 est.

Format Change:
There will be a small twist to the format for this series. After the heats, dash, and b main the top 2 finishers from the previous week will draw what place they will start in the feature, no higher than where they would start from their dash finish/b main finish. So if you won last week and finished 3rd in this weeks dash, you would have numbers 3-10 to draw from on where you start the feature.

For heat races, it will be a random draw to see who is in what heat race. Then there will be a 5 lap hot lap that will be used as a qualifying session for that particular heat to set the lineup. So we'd all qualify at the same time, idealy be spread out to run your fast lap. Ties broken by points position.

Chassis:
It's been thoroughly thought out on what chassis will be used during this series. I've decided to make it up to us drivers to decide what car will be used. Below I will post the options of chassis, and if everyone could PLEASE VOTE on what chassis you want to run in a forum post below, that would decide what chassis will be used.

-Default Late Model
-Gen 5
-TnL
-CLM 2013
-BLS LM
-BLS Mod
-UMP LM

Thank you!

THANKS WHEEL FOR PROMOTING NEW BLS SERIES

My Ranking Order of Chassis on list for use

1. UMP LM - Giving NEW LIFE To a PATIENT and SMART Driver ...NOT always the Fastest Driver..
The Way I Likley Would Have Went With The Show as they seem to be Drawing Well EVEN THOUGH I HEAR GROANS from the GALLERY when I mention them.

2.CLM2013- They Make Many Tracks Seem Better Than They Are and Draw WELL even being Slower !

3. BLS Mod - Rip Snortin' and Wild Handlin' Although Slower can use both lines on most tracks .

4. Gen 5 - Old News but a Reliable Count Drawing Machine .

5. BLS LM- Haven't Drawn for $hiznit like I had hoped but MOST FOLKS DO SAY THEY LIKE THEM .

6. TnL - Depends on which.... BLS T~n~L hasn't been given its fair shake IMO .. They Don't PLOW like the WFO TnL and run AUTO. WFO TnL are FUN as Hell even though they require a different setup to combat the PLOWING.

7. Default LM- There Could Be a Case Made to Go BACK TO BASICS forcing some into SHIFTING SCHOOL :silly:

Straight roads are for fast cars, curvy roads are for fast drivers.

Default Late Model - Dumbest idea every to run a default
Gen 5 - Biggest turd out there, Junk on 4 wheels. If I wanted to run pavement I would go join Jason at Stock car revolution

TnL- Not a bad idea, but you take people away from running your series who can't shift ( and yes I can't shift)

CLM 2013 - Flyers self proclaimed best car in the game, is fun to drive but slow

BLS LM - Runs faster than everything which makes it high line dependent and hard to pass, and some people are afraid of having to drive the car instead of stab the brake and B B B B B out the corner.

BLS Mod - fun as hell to race hand full to drive, get your set up right or your loose. I like this car the most because of having to drive it.

UMP LM - Tire wear is great but if you want true tire wear make it so the tires even on hard wear out completely then you have to drive the car on dead tires and that will show you who the good drivers are. Down fall of these cars is the body, I'm sorry but the look of them is dumb, add a chassis that has no dirt or damage and I might be more interested.

CLM or BLS Mod

I was asked to come on here and pick, I have.

I can make them wear out, but actually I did have an idea very similar to this though I haven't got it to work the way I hoped yet, but it sounds like something you'd like.

I wanted to make a chassis, and use it at VLR this season, where no matter which tire compound you choose they wear out all at the same time and the same amount. That way everyone starts out fast and they end on horribly handling tires and cars and the best driver wins like you said. And it would be kinda realistic and would be a blast I think. But I couldn't get it to work right, at least not yet :(. And if you run the UMP cars on 0 wet the hard tires wear completely out, or at least close to it from what I've noticed. But yeah, I'd love to get them to all wear out completely and just have bad handling cars at the end.

In the tire wear section you have change the top groups of numbers and leave the compound wear alone, thats what i did with the DTA LM that you called junk

I did all that, and it seemed very simple, but then why don't you go run on hard tires and then soft tires and you'll see that they still don't fade the same amount over the same period of time. And also nice job trying to say I was cheating at fkn Portsmouth on Facebook. When I get off work I will try to upload a video of me running the same line there in a 10 lap race and then the last two laps or so i will run a different line and try to hit the glitch to prove that I didn't somehow remove the glitch. If I had tried and succeeded to remove the glitch BMS_Ray would have been the first person to know about it so that he could release a new version that worked better for a big race like that. I love that people have to call me a cheater when I've been racing for ten years and have never cheated to win a race.

O so you don't like being called a cheater either, interesting. Plus you can post what every you want no one cares but Karl

You never gonna get it to work the way you want because the game has a set way and time of wearing the tires, Basicly jack the wear way up and let the game handle it from there

Who called you a cheater?

And yes I know it does. So I'd like to find where it stores that info to see if it's possible to adjust, but I doubt it. Still, if we find it it may ahve other cool params to mess with on chassis in the future.

seems like its harder to pass in the UMP late Models to me.. its easier to block in them as well. I still like the tire wear though, just probably could use some tweaking and it would be great.

Cagrats. It's easy to pass to me depends on the tire wear of the people around you really. If everyone has the same tire compound it might be harder. We'll find out at VLR this season I guess with the reverse avg finish format
