Matter of fact our 1st snow of the year last year was on Oct.1st.Aint seen any yet this year but been waking up to mid 20 degree temps,it wont be long I'm sure.

Last winter was pretty good up this way, never had snow on the ground three days in a row and the most we got was like 3 inches in one day, and it would be melted in a day or so.

When I was a kid in 1993 I believe, I remember trick or treating on Halloween with snow everywhere. It was freezing cold and even the roads had snow on them. I was only about 5 so it's one of my earliest memories. I think we had about three inches of snow that day!! You never know about Halloween here, it can be 30's and snowing or topping 80 degrees.

It didn't snow much here last year either. But our biggest was about five inches on February 20th I think. Here are pics. It actually melted extremely quick. I headed to work that morning and it was covered in snow, by the time I got home there was pretty much nothing and it got to 57 degrees.








And then just 9 days later we had tornadoes...:

well looks like ny is going to have a hurricane by the end of next week i dont wanna think about trying to drive to work while its snowing and the wind is blowing at 105mph that will suck bad

it was in the 70s from monday to yesterday but then today it is now in the 40s

I know the feeling......this'll really put a damper on Halloween....

yesterday here in nebraska we had Rain,pee size hail, thunder lightning, and snow... just a typical strange weather day... surprised we didnt have any tornados with it!

I hope we don't ever get pee sized hail.

It's starting to get nasty cold and snowy up here in Alaska. Already 2 feet on the ground this year.
