I thought I sucked at playing online(or off line). So, I had my brother (doit0) try racing with his sets and he was .3 to .6 a lap slower on my computor, than on his computor. Anyone have any ideas on what do? The real kicker is my computor is 2x as fast and newer than the one he uses.

Make sure your realism is set to 100% Thats probably the problem
So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

Actually I feel like I had the exact same problem when switching from my old PC to my new one. On my old one I felt faster and smoother with the car and the lap times were faster on average. I remember I was so bad at one track on my new PC that I tried it on my old PC and ended up racing the league race on my old PC and winning. So I think it is possible for sure since I seemed to be a bit slower on the new PC. I wish I could figure it out, too because I think it's more than just being in my head. I think it's weird that the old PC seems to give better times than the new ones though.

And also go to game options and make sure evrything is set to supreme game performance, like: tranny (auto/manny), handling to 100.0, tire wear is checked on! And above all, what ICE said!!! After clicking Multiplayer, you see a page with your name, location, and vehicle handling<<<100% (I'm sure you know all this, but if not)

Will the inside of a game (the inputs in game itself) lose performance with a new PC?

Are there settings to accomodate your car speed in the Performance part of the PC?

I have a BUNCH of questions now!!! lol

Do you need to "break in" a PC. like a car?

It's Better to Die a Hero, than Live as a Coward!!!
