To get the game to work online, simply download RivaTuner Statistics Server and click the + sign to add dtr2.exe and then set the frame rate to be 120FPS!

Hi guys, I am playing DTR Sprint Cars.

I been trying to edit like the names of the series, Edit what cars that series pick.

I tried ditching some of the generic cars and replace with real drivers and cars and they won't appear.

I even tried using the same title of the generic file names for the files i want to use and it still won't shows up as what i want it.

if the sprint care game is set up same as dtr2 then to add custom skins ur need copy the folder name of each driver skin u want use and put in driver file. u can edit names as in real ppl but if u dont have the skin avalibal in skin file then game boot u do me a faver post 1 of ur str files that u edited on here ill look at at and then see what i can tel;l u

OK in every SERIES folder there is a STR File.

When you open it up, That's where it's text for that series' name, the tracks to race, the driver names, and the cars they race.

I simply tried erasing the name, and also changing the Swindell car\\06 stuff to whatever the name of the folder is for the car I wanted.

DID NOT WORK, Car still appeared as the original car.

I also even, tried replacing the texture image in the folder of that car with the the texture image of the car I wanted and it some how magically stays the same in the folder, Just werid.

I was able to get my JOEY SALDANA Car to be apart of the OUTLAWS Selection instead of the New Entry for the quick race .

I AM GETTING HOT TRAIL Here !

I still would like any info about changing the series names still.

Ha I did a QUICK RACE with 16 Car Field. I had 8 JOEY SALDANA Cars in the race lol. but 3 other cars I added did show up in the 16 car field. hehe just werid.

Ah ha.

Each car has their own HALL OF FAME RANK.

So I had to make add hall of fame rank "needed number" to the str.

OK, I got my guys to show up as WOO Drivers in Quick Race instead of NEW ENTRY Drivers.

Now when I went to go mess with the series roster str

I got this error

series_generate_drivers: driver Tony Stewart has a non-existent skin 2006 Paul McMahan 20\0

Suggestions? :)

Just did this.

No longer crashes but the name I replaced with Tony Stewart is still shows up as the E.SomeDriver on the series entry roster. No sign of Stewart.

which sprintcar Furr is the car make, didn't work either.

Something tells me I was closer with the

2006 Paul McMahan 20\\0

not car make its skin folder name u have make sure u have each chassi for all skins u have im not that famlur with woo set up but simular to dtr2 u need to use driver skins and place folder names in each driver that u want that certin skin to be used. more driver skins u have the more of these entries u can make and take out duplicates

I made sure all existing stewart files had the same car make which is

Sprintcar mopar

according to the woo series all the real woo drivers have

Sprintcar mopar\\0

Perhaps me sticking a mopar car in a the WELD SERIES won't work because there is no other mopar quality cars racing there? PERHAPS he is not mean't to be there?

Tried doing WOO SUPPORT which has MOPAR Cars and nothing.

There has to been something more to this then just

Tony Stewart
Sprintcar Mopar\\0

Okay see what I did with other the other drivers I copied the Driver Folder of Kinser etc and used it as a base for a new driver.

I am thinking in the CARS Folder where you have the different chassis, I am wondering If I should copy and renamed the copy verison and have that as my chassis and then make the

Sprintcar NEWNAME\\0
Sprintcar NEWNAME 2\\0

from that?

I took notice when I went to change the default texture for JEFF SWINDELL in the woo folder the game still loaded up with the original skin,

There's got to be something to this.

Entered the WOO SERIES on Career and the guys I added that happen to show up just fine in the WOO QUICK RACE are now apart of the SEASON.

Only thing that sucks is

I got 2 names that are

Brad Furr
PJ Chesson
Kasey Kahne
Joey Saldana

which is because they used their names for generic drivers.

So perhaps I am going to add A TON OF DRIVERS to the WOO DRIVERS Folder so this way they never get picked again for the Career mode lol.

WOO SERIES Consist of 48 Entries

31 GENERIC FILL IN Drivers.

So I am going to add a ton of drivers to the DRIVERS FOLDER where the other WOO DRIVER PROFILES are at and that will cause the other FILL IN GUYS to basically disppear on the race line up sheet.
