Hey guys I had a guy code us some automated fast 10's now for the site. It will be cleaned up and modified over time, but right now you can test it by going into one of our browser Fast 10's servers and trying it out. It only tracks you if you do 10 laps, in a default chassis, at a default track.

Anyway...what I'm going to try to do is to modify this code this guy sent me to allow for Gen 3's at Add on tracks. I think I can do it pretty easy based on what he sent me...

What I'm getting at is this weekend at VLR I'm gonna try to make it update after someone qualifies and automatically put it on the site. Like I will set up a page called Live Qualifying, and you can refresh it every few minutes and watch as new quick times are posted as we qualify, similar to what NASCAR does.

I hope I can get it to do that and if so it will be awesome and you won't have to ask someone what they hit in qualifying because it will automatically display on the site! So fingers crossed I can have this set up tonight and make qualifying even more interesting/fun!

I'm excited guys! Tonight we get to try out this live qualifying dealio...It's gonna be cool! Please try not to show up late tonight because we will be zooming through everything, thanks to live qualifying and the program Buck sent me last week to instantly post heat lineups and B Main lineups.

Qualifying will start at 7:30 pm eastern for the VLR Knoxville Nationals. We will divide the racers into qualifying groups and tell them what server to go to. It is not urgent that you be here EXACTLY at 7:30, but it would be beneficial if you could be in Ventrilo before 7:50pm eastern, 6:50 central.

Immediately following qualifying, assuming that everything is working with the lap time recorder (it is as of right now and it should be all systems go), heat lineups should be posted within 2 minutes of qualifying ending.

After the heat races, the B Main lineups should be posted within 1 minute of the heat races ending.

I think the show can be over by 9pm eastern tonight...even if there were 30+ cars that showed up, this is thanks to the guy who made the code for the fast 10's + LIVE qualifying (The first time ever in dtr2 and probably in most other games), and to Buck (Doit 7) for his work in excel to make the races more efficient.

Unfortunately this means less talking in between lineups and all that for those of us who like to talk, but there should be plenty of time after the races since it will be over quicker.

And last I wanna apologize for not getting the race report out this week, this deal has been an all week thing since last Monday basically and I haven't had a lot of time. I will still try to get the report out today if anyone is interested in reading it.

I also plan to get tonight's race report out of the way pretty quickly, possibly even tonight if the show really does get over quick enough!

We are at T-minus 7 hours to race time and I can't wait!!!!!
